Blake South College was holding a prom for the very first time and everyone decided to go, except for Nina. She'd rather read a book. She wasn't really into the whole dancing thing. Luna did go with Jim and Yam. She was excited to go, she loves to dance at times. The only thing she wasn't looking forward to was seeing Ámbar with her friends. But she hoped that it would be too crowded for Ámbar to notice her. She didn't want to be bothered by her tonight.

When they walked into the room, everyone was already on the dancefloor. When she looked around, her eyes couldn't get enough of the view. The room was beautifully decorated. One of her favorite bands was playing live as well. She loved the prom the second she walked in the room.

Jim and Yam stayed with her to get through the crowd. They were holding her hand because they were scared they'd lose her because of so many people being there. She has gotten used to it by now. She was lost one time and it took everyone hours to find each other. She didn't want that to happen again.

After a while of looking around, both Jim and Yam were asked to dance by some guys of the same year.

"Is it okay if we leave you alone for a while?" Yam asked Luna.

"Sure, go ahead, have fun. Don't worry about me." She said, not wanting to show that she didn't want to be left alone.

"Okay, thanks. We'll be back soon." Jim said. After that, they both left to dance on the dancefloor.

Luna took another look around the room to see if there's anyone else she knows. But she didn't seem to recognize a single person. It made her a little uncomfortable, standing here alone.

After a while, she caught a guy looking at her and when he saw that she was looking at him, he didn't look away. Instead a smirk appeared on his face. She looked away shyly, she noticed that she started blushing. With this move, he approached her.

"Hello. Would you mind to dance with me?" he reached out his hand, assuming she was going to say yes immediately.

"I'm sorry but I can't dance." She said as an excuse not to dance with him.

"I'll teach you." He added a flirty smile to his suggestion and he reached out his hand again.

She was blushing because of what he said and she tried to hide but he noticed and he smiled at her reaction. This girl looks really cute at everything she does. He immediately noticed her from the other side of the room. She looked really beautiful when she was admiring her surroundings. He was looking at her ever since she walked in the room. He had no idea why but this girl immediately caught his attention and he couldn't look away. He had hoped she would notice him. He needed an excuse to go talk to her. He really wanted to get to know this tiny, green-eyed girl. He saw from the minute he first saw her that she had such a big light inside of her. He had no idea what was happening to him but he liked the feeling so he just went with it.

"You noticed me standing off to the side instead of dancing, and I told you that I can't dance but you just gave me the flirtiest smile and said that you'd teach me, and who am I to refuse." She said after a moment of silence.

She took his hand and led her to the dancefloor. When they arrived on the side of the floor. A slow song came on and his smile got bigger.

"I guess your first lesson is slow dancing." He teased. He took her hands and put them around his neck and then he put his hands on her waist. He was leading her and they were twirling and dancing around a little bit. They both had to smile as they looked into each other's eyes. He was drowning in her eyes and he didn't care because they were the most beautiful eyes he has ever seen in his life.

They forgot the world around them, all they could think about was each other. They were so focused on the other one that they didn't notice the song changing. So they were slow dancing to an upbeat song.

Luna was the first one to break from her trance. She pulled away from him in one quick move and it gave him a look of disappointment on his face. She noticed this and regretted her action.

"Thank you for teaching me. You're a really good teacher. My name is Luna by the way." She quickly said to try and break the tension between them.

"I am Matteo and yes, I am a good teacher, you could even say I'm the best teacher you've ever had." He tried flirting to forget that she made him feel bad.

"That's not hard. You're the only dance teacher I've ever had." She tried to break his flirting but he didn't want to give up just yet.

"You know I can give you private lessons if you'd like." After this remark, he took a step closer to her, carefully to avoid her running away from him.

"You know actually, that would be great. We can do some more slow dancing." She seemed to have given up her inner fight to resist him and she flirted back shamelessly. She took a step closer as well.

"You know, to do a perfect dance together as a pair. You need to have chemistry." He put on his flirty smile again. Not afraid of what could happen next.

"I think we can make it work." She said. Taking another step closer to him.

They leaned into each other slowly so that they both gave the other one the chance to pull away if they wanted to. Neither of them did. The next thing they know their lips were touching. Usually, neither of them would do this. But they both saw a light in each other that they couldn't pull away from.
