Dear Stranger,
I apologize to you for this sudden letter being that we are not formally acquainted. However, I am in a bit of a pickle and I would be honored if you would entertain this notion a bit longer. I was advised by my previous ward that I must bring together my heir presumptive by All Hallow's Eve. Since I have no offspring, nor the inclination to add to the populous, I decided to randomly select heirs that have the aptitude to handle my estate. You have been chosen because you excel in specific skills or traits- art, dance, music, entertainment, or weaponry. Unlike some in my estate, I feel I must warn you while the heir to my estate will be blessed with an abundance of wealth, there are big strings. The challenges you will face to prove worthy of such wealth is dangerous and your safety cannot be guaranteed. I say this not to scare you, but so that you may go into this with your eyes and ears always open. If I give you no other advice heed my warning. I cannot give you any more information than that just now. However, shortly you will receive an invitation. Should you accept, I shall grant you a night of dancing, food, drinks, and merriment worthy of royalty.
Signed,
P.H Chamberland of the Lore Estate
