Lela curled into the pillows almost forgetting where she was. However, it was a like a worm eating an apple. She went from blissfully relaxed to wide-eyed and sitting up with the previous night worming its way to her conscience. The world was back to being filled with darkness, but Lela found some comfort in that. She heard soft footsteps pattering closer to her room and she heard a small snore sound next to her. Who is that? She wondered. She patted the bed next to her, but nothing was there. She moved her hand up to the pillow and felt fur. She instinctively pulled her hand back. Her breath quickened, but she slowly reached her hand back to the fur. It was warm and breathing. It stopped snoring. She was going to pull her hand back again, but then she felt it nuzzle into her hand. "What is it?" She said aloud.

A small giggle came from her right. She jumped. "My apologies Lady Lela. I didn't mean to startle you. Good Morning. Shall I run your bath?" It was Macha.

"I can do that."

"Just because you can, doesn't mean you should," Macha said without skipping a beat. Lela heard her muffled steps change from the fur carpet to the tile in the bathroom. A moment later, she heard running water.

"Macha?" Lela called to her.

She heard Macha's muffled steps come back into the room. "How may I serve you?"

"Umm. I'm sorry, but could you tell me what is on my pillow?" Lela asked hesitantly. Her hand was still being nestled by the animal on her pillow. She could tell it was small and had fur, but not much else.

"Appears to be a dragon." She said nonchalantly.

"A dragon?" She said not hiding her confusion. "But it is small and... has... fur?" She felt a small wet lick from its tongue on her palm.

"Oh sure. Many creatures here in Fae can change. She must think you would be most comfortable with that form. Your bath should be close to being ready. I was advised that you have been invited to breakfast so if you would like a bath first, I would recommend that we commence." Her tone was warm but encouraging.

In response, Lela's stomach gurgled. "But I can't eat." She frowned.

"Even so, you should at least take a bath and get dressed. Lord Bo and Lady Alicia are waiting for you to join them."

She nodded and gave the tiny creature a pat. She tried to wrap her naked body with the blanket on her bed, but it was thick and bulky. She also heard the little creature huffle a small snort at her. "What?" She said to it. It didn't respond. Then walked grasping the blanket closely to her body toward the sound of running water. She kept one hand up so she didn't run into any walls and slid her toes through the carpet fur so she wouldn't trip. She could smell the moisture in the air the moment her toes touched the cool tile. Flashes of light glittered in front of her revealing the room slowly in the heated steam. The room was large, but opulent with gemstones and colored rocks peppering the walls and ceiling. White tile covered the floor and most of the walls. The ceiling was made of a tone similar to her skin, but much lighter. It appeared to be made from some sort of organic material. She would call it light brown until she learned more about colors.

She spent a good portion of last night asking what things were and it became a game. She already learned so much. When she finally laid her head down in the early morning when the sun was just coming up, she thought her mind would keep her up. Instead, she fell asleep instantly and dreamt of swimming beside a large sea turtle looking at all the beautiful fishes and coral.

"Shall I throw you in again?" Macha asked interrupting her thoughts.

Lela turned to see a very short creature. She blinked big round eyes at Lela. She tried to describe Macha in her mind so that she could figure out what kind of creature she was, but it didn't match any descriptions she could reference. Macha had a large oversized head and long wide arms, but her body and legs were short. She had no clothes on but had ivy-like plants weaved into her long auburn hair strands. The strands were thicker than human hair almost as wide as a penne noddle. Her lips and nose were small bumps just a small tone difference than her face and she had no discernible ears. "No, sorry. I am just getting used to being able to see. It must be from the steam?"
