Jughead roamed the dark, snowy streets trying to clear his head. He had lost the drive-in and no way was he going to live back home. He thought about staying at Archie's but they wern't really friends anymore. He thought about staying at the school but if anyone saw him he would go right back to square one. Then he remembered Betty. Throughout all of their time being together he had never once told her about his living situation, he was just so ashamed.
Whilst thinking about Betty she immediately popped up into view. She noticed the giant bag of belongings on his back and soon became suspicious but worried, she came up to Jughead with her always present smile and bright eyes and Jughead was not prepared to walk away from her instead he just had to tell her the whole truth every, single bit of it.
"Hey Juggie." She said but not as cheerily as she usually would. Without hesitation she asked, "What's wrong Jug?" The words were on the tip of his tongue yet he could not say them instead he just stood there and stuttered. "Juggie." She said whilst cupping his cheek and him looking into her beautiful green eyes. "Just tell me what's wrong. I want to help you."
Soon he found his voice and said "Im homeless alright Betts. I have been for a long time now. Why? Because my dad is an alchoholic, has no job and he doesn't care a bit about trying to get our family back together. I just couldn't take the rollercoaster ride that was my life, so i left home." He paused a moment letting the words sink in. Betty was speechless she couldn't believe that her boyfriend was keeping something like this from her. There was silence for a few more seconds before Betty said, "Oh my god Juggie, im so sorry. Where have you been staying then if not at home?" Jughead stood there and sighed before answering. "I-I've been staying at the drive-in before it, you know. Closed." "Im now trying to find another place to stay but not such luck." He said disapointedly.
There was another minute of silence before Betty spoke up. "Why dont you stay with me Jughead i won't mind, maybe my mom, but i can find a way to sneak you in."
"Betts thank you for the offer but i'll be fine. You dont need to do this for me ive already caused you enough stress by only just telling you all this now." Betty was quite annoyed but did not let it show. She was not going to let her boyfriend be homeless all his life. She was not taking no for an answer. "Please Jug maybe my mom will let you stay. Please i just want to help you." She pleaded trying not to let tears slip from her eyes.
"Fine but just for tonight." Jughead gave in. "Yay great come on then!" She squealed. She was like an excited child just waiting to open all her christmas presents.
Soon they arrived at the Cooper residence and they both snuck in through Betty's bedroom window. Betty helped Jug carry his backpack of belongings up inside and finally managed to get everything and everyone inside. They both collapsed on the bed and Betty looked over at her clock it read 10:27 PM. "Juggie we should get to sleep, its late. "Ok." He mumbled slightly falling asleep at that moment but instantly woke up with a kiss on his cheek from Betty. "Some sleeping beauty you are huh Jug." She joked scoring a small but tired laugh from Jughead.
After they both got ready for bed. Betty asked. "Juggie what are you going to do after tonight. Where are you going to go then?" Jughead had a small smile on his face and said. "Im coming right back here. Im staying with you." Betty then started to smile also. "Well goodnight Romeo."
"Goodnight my Juliet." They both said as they shared a kiss and drifted off to sleep holding each other close.
This was such a cute thing to write also happy late halloween!!🎃 And what did you think of episode 4. In my opinion it wasn't the best episode but it was still good and it had a good plot its just not my fave but im already sooo excited for episode 5 who else?!!!!!?
