People are not always as perfect as they seem to be. For exapmle, take Betty Cooper. A straight 'A' student, a cheerleader and her appearance was always stunning from what you could see.

But what you couldn't see was the scars imprinted in her palms from her manicured nails. All from the stress of her mother making herself and the rest of her family look perfect from the outside. On the inside though all the Cooper's had their fair share of dark secrets.

Day by day she would live as if nothing was wrong pretending to the world as if she was fine, when really. She wasn't fine. She would smile and laugh. But on the inside she was hurting. Until she met Jughead. Jughead gave her a reason to laugh and smile. But don't be fooled. He wasn't perfect either.

Jughead was far from perfect actually. He had problems mainly with him and his family. He never had a good relationship with his dad, he was usually abused by him when he was too drunk to even realise it was his son. So naturally Jug decided to leave home and stay at the drive-in.

Because of being homeless and having a bad relationship with his family, he started to lose touch of his friends. Jughead was clinging onto Archie by a thread. A thread that at any moment could snap. Soon it did. He lost everything. Friends, family then the drive-in. He started to push people away and become very distant to everyone.

The exception being Betty Cooper.

He could finally feel like he belonged with her. Like she was his family. He was scared that he could lose her, as everything good in his life soon vanished. But she stayed when he needed her. He told her that he wasn't doing well with his family and that he was homeless. And she still stuck with him.

Neither Betty or Jughead was perfect but together they fixed each others broken pieces. Making them perfectly whole again
