It was a terrible storm that couldn't be stopped it. Rain fell like bullets to the ground creating masses of puddles and soaking people to the skin. The rain was so heavy that all that could be seen in front of you was the giant raindrops that clung on to leaves and peoples clothes.
Betty ran through the damp streets in her pyjamas, the smell of rain scratching at her nose. Where was she running to? You may ask and the answer is Jughead. The reason why is that she was home alone and trying to sleep in this storm seemed impossible. She was scared of the thunder that could be heard from her house. She couldn't get phone service and so her only choice was to run over to Jug's trailer all the way over on the Southside.
After 10 minutes of non stop running she finally reached the trailer. She jogged up the steps and banged on the door waiting for it to open. A second later the door swung open to reveal Jughead wrapped up in fluffy blanket and warm pyjamas. "Hey Betty what's the matter." Jughead asked although he already knew the answer due to her face filled with terror and fright. Just then a flash of lightning scared Betty and she jumped into Jughead's arms and whimpered, hiding her face in his chest. "Ssshh its alright Betty i've got you. Come on in."
He walked her inside the trailer with her still clinging on to his shirt. They sat down on the couch and he stroked her hair that was not in her usual ponytail, instead her damp, golden locks were spewed along her shoulders and back. "Here let me get you a drink." Jug said before getting up and making her a hot chocolate. "J-Juggie,"
"Hmm." He replied
"Is it alright if, if i stay here tonight? Im home alone and im really scared."
"You didn't even have to ask of course you can." He said whilst giving her the warm drink and rubbing her back calmingly.
After Betty drank the rest of her hot chocolate she started to feel slightly drowsy and her eyelids started to droop due to how tired she was. Moments later she had fallen asleep and Jughead covered her in a blanket and cuddled with her until he to soon fell asleep with the beautiful blonde still snuggled in his arms.
