Betty and Jughead were just like any other romantic couple, they kissed and cuddled and enjoyed whatever time they spent together to the fullest. They were like every other couple their age, except they hadn't tried having sex yet. Archie and Veronica happen to do it often and for Betty that intamacy is everything she has wanted with Jughead.
But Jughead's view was entirely different. Archie would talk about what Archie had experienced with Veronica the previous night, and Jughead can't blame him for talking his ear off, Veronica drives Archie crazy and if he enjoyes having sex with her then who's to stop him. However, after recalling his sex life Archie would sometimes tease him about being a virgin and if he loves Betty so much why hasn't he done anything about it yet.
It's because he's scared.
Scared of telling the truth.
He hadn't told anyone about his little (honestly quite big) secret, but if he was going to tell anyone, it would be Betty first every time. And thats what he did.
Jughead climbed up the ladder to her window which now perminately resided there, knocked and waited, his heart in his throat. Betty came to the window with a cheery smile as usual "Hey Juggie you okay?"
"Yeah, yeah im good." He was hoping that Betty wouldn't see his hands shaking. "Um Betty, i do need to talk though." He swallowed thickly. This is it, this is when she leaves his mind races, he tries to take his mind elsewhere. "Sure, what is it baby?" She asks confused. "I need to talk about us. Specifically our relationship." Tears started to gloss his eyes. Why am i crying, stop being a scared bitch. "What about us Juggie?" She also started to get nervous. "You know how you've always wanted to have. You know with me but. I can't"
"W-why's that?" Tears started to spring at her eyes, this could not be happening.
"Betty im-"
Part two will be coming in about another hour or so. Also yes im still here gosh i haven't posted in centuries but ive been ispired to write something so hopefully that will help me update this book more. 💖
