8 years later.

"Grace! Hey! Gracen! Princess!" Nick waved his hand in front of her eyes.

"Huh?" Grace looked up. "Sorry Nick."

"You okay?" He asked looking worried.

"Uhh... Yeah... Of course I am. I've just keep getting off focus."

"Okay then." Nick said not believing her.

Grace looked around there was swords a few feet away from her. And bows and arrows in the quivers, near some targets. "Do you want to do archery or sword fight?"

"Can we do sword fighting first?"

"Sure." Grace got up and pulled her long wavy brown hair up. She walked over next to her brother and they each grabbed a sword and found a flat spot to practice.

"Are you sure you don't want to practice by the tree? Where She can't see us?" Nick asked her.

"No. I think we're good, besides Erin and Lucas are coming soon."

Erin and Lucas are brother and sister and Nick and Grace's friends. They live in the castle because their parents had to go across seas and never came back. So maids took care of them. They didn't sleep in the help section they had a nicer room they shared but it wasn't really any different.

"So you want to get started?" Nick asked.

"On 3." Grace said.

"1," they said at the same time. "2, 3!" They both went charging at each other, swords raised, ready to attack. Clank, bang, clank. The swords weren't so loud because they weren't actually  trying to hit each other.

A few minutes later, Grace asked. "Do you want to do some archery now?"

"All right fine." Nick answered.

They put the swords down and went over to where the bows were lying.

"You okay?"

"You've already asked-"

"I know you seem a little off." Grace raised her eyebrow at him. "What? I'm your brother, but more or less I'm just wondering."

"Fine," Grace picked up the bow and started twiddling her necklace. "So remember the time you showed me the tree house?"

"Yep. It was the first time you've ever used a bow."

"And I showed you my tunnels." She smiled. "Yeah so technically I remembered that. I literally remember everything about that time."

"Yeah."

"So now I told you, can we start now?"

"Sure."

They picked up the quivers and ten arrows and dropped them in.

"You want to go first?" Nick asked her.

"No, you can. And good luck!" Grace said smiling. "You may need it."

"Not this time." Nick drew his bow and launched his arrow, it landed close to the target.

"My turn." Grace stepped up and drew her arrow and let it go. It soared and then landed right on the target.

"Nice shot," Nick said as Grace stepped away.

"Not my best but thanks. Your up."

"Thanks." Nick's arrow went nearly at the same spot but farther away from the target.

Grace stepped up and shot her arrow and it hit the exact same spot splitting the first arrow. "Huh, I've never done that before!" She said bewildered.
