Alternate ending to Greys anatomy Season 14 episode 5

Meredith POV:

I woke up with Nathans hand resting on my stomach, it was nice I could get used to it. Just then something snapped me back into reality. It was Maggie.

"Hey Mer I was wondering-- Oh My God!!!!" She said with a confused look. I hadn't gotten to tell her about how Nathan and I got back together or how I was pregnant since she was working last night. 

I slowly slid out of Nathans' arm and followed Maggie downstairs.

"I thought he was going to California with Megan?" She asked me almost immediately

"He was and he did but then I call him and told him I was pregnant with his--"

"WAIT!! You're pregnant!!! When did you find out?"

"Like last week." I responded 

" And why didn't I know this before" she asked

"well I figured I should've told him first the only people that know is Alex and Amelia. alex was home and found the tests and Amelia was there when I took the test." 

"and why is he up in your bed and not with Megan?" 

"because he said that he and Megan talked and that there was once love between them but they both moved on. Then he drove down here and told me he has fallen in love with me. I said he could stay here and that we could raise the baby together. then we fell asleep in my bed, not that complicated maggie." 

"Morning beautiful, Oh Pierce hey " I heard Nathan say as he came downstairs

"Hey" she says awkwardly but still with a smirk 

"Well I should get going I'm working today. Are you coming to the hospital today to talk to Bailey?" I asked Nathan

"Yeah I should be in, in like an hour or so I'll find you." 

"OK Bye love you," I said as I lean in a kissed him

"Bye Love you too, and hey take it easy it stress isn't good for the baby."

"yeah yeah yeah," I said as I walked out the door.

I closed the door and thought to my self " I could definitely get used to that". I walked to my car and pulled out of the driveway and went to work my 12-hour shift.

A/N: I know that this isn't the Most interesting chapter sorry but to be honest this was kinda a filler chapter. I promise the next one or two will be interesting. Comment any suggestions or thoughts and VOTE!!! Thank you guys so so much for reading!!
