I got paged 911 to dereks room. I go and find out whats wrong.
"What happening " I say to a nurse
"He starting crashing, You cant be in here" She says directing me out
"Charge to 200" i hear another nurse yell
"Clear"
"Charge to 300"
"Clear"
"350"
"Clear"
"Hes Back"
The same nurse came out to talk to me " He suffered from cardiac arrest we are going to keep a very close eye on him and will update you every hour"
"Thank you" I say and i walk into dereks room
"Soo"
"Soo" he responds
"we should talk"
"yeah"
"I think you should take me off as your emergency contact and put amy or someone."
"yeah that would probably be best huh?"
"Tonight i will explain to the kids and when you get a little stronger ill bring them to the hospital"
"Mer, do you love him?"
"If im being honest with you, yes i do"
"and what about me, do you still love me?"
"Derek its-"
"It was a yes or no question"
"Im sorry i cant" I say before running to a supply closet and breaking down from both the pregnancy hormones and being asked the question he had just asked me.
