Alternate ending to Greys anatomy Season 14 episode 5

No ones POV:

That night Meredith was brought to the hospital from falling in the shower. DeLuca was now the chief of surgery. 

"Ok Dr. Grey it seems that you have an aneurysm that we have to operate on as soon as possible, there are multiple risks such as paralysis loss of speech and death." 

"I want the Chief of surgery you arent the chief" 

"I think you are referring to Dr.Baliey"

"Yes I want her"

"After ben sadly died in a fire 12 years ago she retired and nobody has seen her since. I am the chief of surgrey and the best neurosurgeon there is."

"OK we will have the surgery today and nolater i have a baby to take care of."

"Yes...yes ma'am?" DeLuca walks out of the room

2 hours  after surgery

MEREDITHS POV 

I wake up from surgery able to talk and move which is a good sign i...i think i dont really know i cant remember. But Im really cold one minute then hot the next.  I think i might have the flu but if i had the flu i would....never mind I just threw up so i most definitely have the flu. The Dr. coms in the room i cant remember his name. 

"Hello Dr.grey how are you feeling?"

"I think i have the flu or some sort of infection because i have a fever and am throwing up"

"well be sure to check that out" 

Just then I start seizing...must be something wrong with my aneurysm repair... now i cant breathe...i hear the EKG machine flatline. 

this is it i am dying.  I am officially dead.

"Hey" I hear someone say i turn around it was Nathan. it all comes back to me now the plane crash, madelyn dying it was all there. He was there in front of me walking towards me. 

"Hey" was all i could think of saying. I was walking towards him now too

NO ONES POV 

They were both now right in front of eachother. They hugged like they never hug before. when they pulled away their faces only inches away. she closed the distance between them by placing her lips on his. he gently pull her body closer he knew one thing for sure, he did not want to let go of her ever . she deepend the kiss and ran her hands through his hair. his hands were all over her body. he placed a few kissed on her neck as he whispered "you look absolutely stunning" into her ear. She pulled away when she noticed a baby in a stroller next to him.

"and who is this little cutie?" she asked 

"Mer meet Madelyn Amelia Grey-Riggs our daughter"
