Alternate ending to Greys anatomy Season 14 episode 5

Still Merediths POV 

"Hey" I said when I saw he was awake 

"Hey" he said looking at me in the eyes 

" Meredith listen I know that you probably pissed at me right now but-" He starts making this speech but I have to tell him about Riggs and the baby before he declares his love for me again 

"Let me go first." I say

"Meredith"

"you say Meredith and I yell remember"

"Ok"

"Listen I beyond happy and angry that your alive and I have sooo many questions which I will get to. but before you go on and saying how sorry you are and how much you love me. I've moved on, I met someone and well I'm pregnant.  I'm happy Derek. you will forever be my great love but I'm starting a new life, a new family. I hope you will you the same."

"wow. thank you for telling me before I went to embarrass myself. How are the kids?" he asked her

"Zola started school and is growing up fast. bailey is 3 and is chatty he looks just like you, and Ellis-"

"wait your mom she died though"

"Oh god, you know before your accident you said you wanted another baby?"

"Yeah then we had sex that morning"

"Well the night you 'died' i found out I was pregnant, then I ran away for a year until Ellis was born and Alex came and took me home" I said thinking about how I will tell Alex, Amy, and the others

"Meredith you don't know how sorry I am for leaving you like that, its just the president had me fake my death so I could continue the brain mapping project."

I got a page from Nathan asking me to meet him in an on-call room not realizing he had left

" I-I-I have to go ill come back though and check on you ok?"

"Yeah ok bye" He said 

"Bye" I said as I was leaving 

I went to the on-call room and saw Nathan there sitting on the bed

"Hey what did you need"

"Meredith, what is going to happen between us? I mean since Derek is back?"

"Well let me tell you" I say walking over to the bed 

"We are going to have this baby and things are going to continue to be together and see what happens ok?"

"Yeah"

I put a leg on his thighs. he took my head in his hands and pulled me closer to his lips. 

"do you know how lucky I am right now?" he whispered against my lips and gave me a quick kiss. 

"Hm... I can't really believe it" I  said softly and kissed Nathan gently.He pulled my body close to him until I eventually fell asleep in his protective embrace. Only to be awoken by my pager it was 911 to Derek's room....

Also if you didnt notice I made his hospital room number 1121 because in the show he died in season 11 episode 21, It wasnt just a random number.
