Avery's POV
Harry's flight gets in at 6am our time, which means he'll probably be very tired. His flight was really early as is, plus the time difference. He definitely needs to sleep some, although I'm very excited to see him and talk more in detail about the interview and moving forward.
I spend little time doing my hair, and barely put on any makeup at all. I figure we'll just come back to mine or his and sleep for a bit anyway. I throw on a pair of yogas and a sweater, and finish brushing my teeth and such. I leave my house around 5:30, just in case there's traffic. I doubt it since it's so early, but I don't want to be late for Harry.
The airport is a good 20 minutes away from my apartment, even though it's still in the city. He's not in a private jet or anything, just a fancy one that any wealthy person has access to. I've never even sat first class. My family was never rich while growing up, or poor. We were kind of just your average, middle class family.
After getting parked and going to our meeting spot, it's 5:57. There's almost no one here, which is good, just so he doesn't get mobbed. I look around the place, just quietly sitting in a seat. Harry texted me that he's landed, and about 10 more minutes of waiting goes by.
After what feels like forever, Harry finally walks through the doors with Jeff, Lou, and a couple other people.
I run up to him and hug him, having missed his touch. He smells like a mix of him and the airport, has messy, sleepy hair, is wearing sweats and a sweatshirt, yet still manages to be so beyond beautiful. He sets his bags down and kisses me, making my heart explode. After going 3 days without him, I feel so sensitive and vulnerable to his touch. I know, I'm kind of pathetic.
His lips hold against mine, and I smile.
"I missed you," I whisper, since his team is only a couple feet away from us, and I don't want to show off too much PDA.
He buries his face into the warmth of my neck, and lightly kisses my cheek.
"Mmm, I missed you, too," he returns, and pecks my lips again.
"Hey, you two! Cut it," I hear a female voice yell, and it's Lou.
Harry flips her off and picks me up, pretending to kiss me all over my face. I laugh hysterically and plead for him to let me down, until he finally obeys. Lou just rolls her eyes and laughs. This is my second time meeting Lou and Jeff, the first being at Harry's apartment a couple days before he left.
"Let's get going, I'm tired," Harry says, and we begin walking out of the terminal. He grabs my hand as we walk, making my heart beat a little faster. It really is the little things. He says goodbye to his crew, and we head out into the parking garage.
"Who's place?" I ask, while he yawns.
"Whichever. We can go to mine since I have my stuff anyway," Harry says, and I nod.
The drive is pretty talkative, despite how tired he is. He tells me about how he went out to dinner with his mom and sister, and how he loves seeing them. He tells me that Gemma wants to meet me, so I bring up the conversation with my mom to him. He seems extremely happy and on board with meeting my parents/family. That's a huge relief, because 1) I feel the same way, and 2) I've heard horror stories about boyfriends and meeting the parents.
When we get to his apartment, we first start unpacking. He only had 2 small suitcases, since he has someone to pick out his clothes.
"So did you feel comfortable talking on the show?" I ask, as I unpack some of his pajamas for him. He told me he'd do it, but I wanted to help.
