Avery's POV

I yawn as I roll over in bed, hitting the cold, empty sheets for the twelfth day in a row now. Twelve days doesn't seem like that long, and I know it really isn't, but God has it been dragging on. I don't know what I'm going to do when Harry goes on the second leg of his tour.

I gently shut my eyes and picture Harry here instead of the cold sheets, smiling at the thought of it. He'd probably already be up, even though it's not even 10am on a Saturday morning. He'd probably be laying on his side, soft smile on his face as he tells me good morning. Wow, I miss him, don't I? At least I get to see him in only 2 days.

My flight to California leaves tomorrow, since I'm going to be spending some time with my family before Harry and his crew officially get there for the tour. I'm missing a couple days of work, but I'll be with Harry, so it's worth it. It's also my birthday on Tuesday, so I deserve it, alright? I've been working my ass off recently, and especially with Harry being gone, it feels like I haven't been doing much but working.

I get up and stretch, not quite sure why my body decided to wake me up this early, or what my plans are for the morning. Even though it can be draining, it's honestly better when I work while H is gone, since I'm then at least preoccupied and not bored out of my mind.

I reach for my phone, unlocking it before opening my texts. I have a few missed texts regarding work related stuff, and a couple from my mom and my brother. I haven't talked to my brother for a few weeks now, the last time being when we planned my upcoming trip to Cali. His text is sweet, just asking how I was, and telling me that we need to FaceTime soon and catch up. I smile and respond to him, telling him I'm free all day to FaceTime if he can. He's also going to be at the show on Tuesday, where he'll finally meet Harry. I get so giddy thinking about it, smiling at the thought of Harry and Jackson meeting.

I glance at the time, seeing that it's 9:42, which means it's almost 4pm in Paris. I decide to FaceTime Harry, hoping he's not too busy. He was out last night and pretty drunk when he texted me, so that means he probably doesn't have too much going on today. I hope not, at least, especially considering the state he was in yesterday. He's not flying into California until Monday, so he has plenty of time to rest.

It rings twice before he answers, and I'm greeted with a blurry, yet tired looking Harry. He's laying in what seems to be his hotel bed, a soft one sided smile on his face as his head is smushed against the pillows.

"Well good morning, handsome," I greet, giggling at his messy hair and his red, tired looking eyes. He smiles some more and rolls over onto his back, sighing.

"Good morning, Av. You're up quite early, aren't you?" He asks, and it's not until then that I realize he's shirtless. I shake every dirty thought from my brain, not wanting to torture myself.

"Yeah, I guess so. My body is so used to my work schedule now, so I'm surprised I'm not up earlier," I say, my voice incredibly groggy sounding since I haven't spoke this morning.

"Are you just now waking up?" I ask sarcastically, and he laughs a bit while shaking his head.

"No, I woke up around 10 and showered, then went to work out with Jeffrey. We grabbed lunch and then chilled for a bit, and now I'm here," he explains, and I roll my eyes.

"How do you do it? Weren't you drunk last night?" I ask, and his smile fades a bit.

"Yeah, I was. I didn't mean to get that drunk honestly, I wasn't even planning on it. It just kind of happened," he says. "You know how I am though, working out always kind of makes me feel better." I nod at this, knowing he's right.

"Yeah, and I still don't know how you do it," I say, sitting up against the pillows. He grins at this, blushing a bit.

"So do you have anything going on for today?" I ask, and he shakes his head.
