My body is in agony. With every motion this weapon makes, the more it pulls against my body. It was like having every inch of your person being pulled on by hooks in every direction until it can successfully draw blood from you.
The strangest thing about this was that every time it did that to me, it would show me something new. The Leviathan, although very powerful, has several weaknesses in it's structure. The most obvious weakness was the recharging time. If Alicia and Kevin can manage to avoid it's attack, they can attack the Leviathan with everything they got.
'The Leviathan will destroy you...'
I do not understand. What does that mean?
'When the Leviathan is destroyed, so is the operator...'
No matter what happens, I'm destined to die? Is that what this is saying? I was told that each machine has similar functions, meaning this one should try to protect the operator. Why would it be designed to destroy them?
'That was his wish'
My father, Adam, was the one who had wished to destroy the operator? Was it really his wish to destroy the enemy that strongly?
'To rid the world of evil, he chose that as his dying wish. Data analysis shows similar DNA patterns. Offspring of Adam Kingston?'
My dad was the one who operated this machine several years ago. He was killed for this machine to ever exist.
'My condolences. Although, I can not override my programmed task, I do have the abilities to protect your life until I am destroyed.'
How do we destroy you?
'After being designed, I had been programmed with one purpose. It wasn't until your father taught me the meaning of my existence that I knew what I would be used for. I disagree with my use.'
Before I could ask anything else, diagrams flashed everywhere. I tried my best to read them, learning as much as I could.
Leviathan, will you assist me in helping my comrades? If they could learn how to destroy you, I can grant your wish.
'Son of Adam Kingston, I will attempt to assist you in every possible way I am capable of.'
