Entry #16 {Exams = ANXIETY}

My first exam is only a day away and I can't help but dreading the thought of sitting in a classroom, in the same seat, in complete silence for two hours straight.

Yes, I obviously know that my mind will be occupied by the billions upon billions of thoughts and facts on History but what happens if I finish my exam before the time duration is up?

Not just that but I swear I have ADD. I think I have since I was younger - I just can't seem to stay still for a long period of time.

Well, there goes my dreams of being a statute...

Not just in exams but in classes as well, I can't sit still for the full forty five minutes - even if I am working or listening to a teacher droning on and on and on.

When we usually have exams or if I'm sitting in a classroom, I get uncomfortable after sitting still for roughly twenty minutes or so. Then, I have to move so I would bop my legs up and down.

I am also told by my friend that I have a habit of tapping my fingers on my desk or twirling a pen/pencil between my fingers - unconsciously of course.

I just can not stay still and it worries me slightly because when I'm sitting in an exam, I tend to bop my leg or something and then get slightly distracted by nothing at all.

I would stare off into space for what feels like a short moment but turns out to be five minutes or more. Then, I would have a panic attack from stress that I have to deal with before having to rush through the rest of my paper just to complete it in time (THIS HAS HAPPENED SO MANY TIMES).

Anyone else deal with this or something similar?

*sigh*

Cross fingers I can focus the whole time. Wish me luck!

Sighing out,
