The sound of the birds chirping and the rustle of the tree leaves is all she hears.
The cool and calm breeze sends a tingle down her spine as it caresses her soft rosy cheeks.
Her eyes slowly shut and a sigh of content leaves her lips as she enjoys the calming silence.
The pitter patter of little feet cause her eyes to open. She looks to the trees and a small smile spreads across her lips.
Three young boys run past while kicking a soccer ball and laughing loudly. Bright smiles accentuating their happy faces.
As they run off, her eyebrows furrow when she hears heavier footsteps coming down the same path as the young boys did not too long ago.
A mop of dark brown hair is the first thing she sees. The next is a strong jawline followed by broad shoulders and a muscular body.
Heat creeps up her cheeks and she diverts her attention to the chirping birds amongst the tall oak trees.
Slightly unsteady breathes fill her ears and she looks to her left. The dark haired man takes a seat beside her on the old rickety park bench.
He looks to her and sends her a small smile. She smiles back shyly before looking forward.
Happiness and excitement flows through her, from the tips of her toes to the crown of her head.
With the feeling of her cheeks flaming, she looks to her left and a smile accentuates her face when she sees the stranger smiling back.
He sticks his hand out in greeting and she copies.
