At First Sight

Chapter 8- Little Black Dress

"The party!" Natalie yelled out of nowhere.

"What party? Is it Liam's?" Niall asked.

"Maybe..." Natalie smiled.

"We aren't going." Niall said sternly.

"Yes we are! Plus being seen with me at a huge beach party like that will make you popular instantly!" Natalie teased.

"Fine. What time does it start?" Niall said.

"Well Britt is coming here now so come back no later than 7:15. Make sure you change also." Natalie laughed.

"What's wrong with my nice polo and khakis?" Niall asked.

"It's a beach party dummy. Put on a tank top and shorts or something." Natalie said.

"Wait did you say 7:15? That's like four hours from now!" Niall regarded.

"I have to get ready! I have to pick out an outfit, which takes forever, put it on, eat lunch, put on my makeup, and straighten my hair," Natalie estimated. "Oh! And I have to take a shower so then also blow dry my hair!"

"Mmmm why don't I just stay for that part?" Niall teased.

Natalie hit his arm then whispered in his ear, "You aren't ready for that yet." Then kissed him. He went to the front door and said he'd be back before 7:15. Natalie remembered Liam was supposed to pick her up at 7, so she said no we won't be ready by then.

Ten minutes after Niall left, Brittany came over. Natalie was already out of the shower when she got there, so Brittany just blow dryed her hair. They both straightened their hair and put makeup on. Brittany was already wearing high waisted shorts, a cropped tank top and sandals. Natalie was debating between high wasted shorts and a crop top with high top converse, or a cute dress with high top converse. She chose the black dress and white high top converse.

A little before 7, she called Liam and said she didn't need a ride anymore. She still didn't know what she was gonna do with him tonight when he saw Niall with her. Right at 7:15, Niall showed up. He looked gorgeous in his USA tank and navy Vineyard Vines shorts. Natalie opened the door and kissed him on the cheek.

"You look beautiful babe." Niall kissed her again.

"So do you." Natalie smiled. "Wait what?"

Niall laughed and hugged her tightly. Brittany walked up and whistled at them.

"Let's go party fuckers!" Brittany shouted. They all laughed and got into Natalie's jeep.
