Natalie jerked awake. She looked to her left and found Niall sleeping beside her. She smiled at the thought of what happened last night. What she didn't realize though, they were on a public beach, both naked, and she even saw someone running not too far away. She quickly tapped Niall on his shoulder and told him to get up. She threw on her dress from last night not even bothering to put her bra back on.

"Good morning, beautiful." Niall smiled as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He always looked perfect no matter what.

"Hurry up! There are other people on this beach and you are naked!" Natalie was half yelling half laughing.

"Don't worry babe." He smirked.

"Oh God.." Natalie teased. "You know it's actually pretty hot that you are basically flashing everyone around us and not even caring."

"What?!!" Niall quickly turned away and pulled his blanket closer to his body. Then he looked around and saw that no one was anywhere in sight. "You are so going to pay for that." Niall threatened. Natalie burst out into laughter.

"It feels good to be here with you." Natalie smiled as he wrapped his arms around her. Niall looked at her then grabbed her face.

"I love you, Natalie." His lips slightly brushed Natalie's.

"I love you too."

Next Weekend

"Can you hurry up? I am waiting and I have been for 23 minutes now." Niall estimated. "We are just going to lunch, not a fancy rest...wow. You look gor...gorgeous." His blue eyes lit up when Natalie came walking down the stairs.

"You know, you really shouldn't stare like that. A woman likes a man who knows how to be subtle." Natalie spoke, her lips forming a wide grin. As she approached Niall, she looped her arms around his neck and kissed him like it was their first time.

Niall held her gaze for a few seconds. "You ready?" He asked.

"Let me just go finish my hair." Natalie started walking towards the bathroom.

"Finish your hair?! It looks perfectly fine!" Niall let out.

She turned back towards him and starting laughing. "You really are gullible aren't you?" She smirked at him, then grabbed her purse on the counter and slung it over her shoulder. "Are you coming? You should know a girl hates waiting."

"No you know how to be so ignorant, but yet so sexy." Niall whispered into Natalie's ear. He rubbed his hand down her back getting lower and suddenly grabbed her into his arms and kissed her. Her laughter filled the room, which only made him laugh.

"So where are we sleeping tonight?" Niall couldn't tell if she was joking until he could see the seductive look in her eyes.

"Well if you keep looking at me like that I don't think we will be sleeping at all." Niall winked at her then kissed her again before dropping her.

"What are you two doing?" Natalie's mom's stern voice circulated the room. In one second the atmosphere changed from ecstatic to intimidating.

"Mom..I thought you and dad were coming home tomorrow?" Natalie asked as her dad walked in the back door, tanner than he was before they left.

"What's going on sweetheart?" Natalie's dad asked her mom.

"Bob not now. I am trying to figure out what's going on."

"It looks like two young people in love. Let them be." Natalie's dad winked at her and Niall. Natalie smiled to him.

"Mom I don't care what you say. We are leaving and I will see you tomorrow morning." Natalie declared.

"Whoa...You are going to leave before you introduce this handsome boy to me?" Natalie's dad asked.

"Oh..umm my name is Niall, sir." Niall shook his hand.

"Niall? Irish legacy!" Bobby exclaimed. "I like you already me boy!"

"Yeah my parents were born in Mullinger. Best country by far." Niall smiled when he saw Bob smiling. Bob patted him on the back.

"Well you two have fun. And Natalie, I can already tell he's a keeper." Bobby winked again. He waved them goodbye as they walked out the door.

"Sorry about my parents. They are..different." Natalie smiled. Niall playfully nudged her shoulder and she returned it. She could feel her parents, well her mom, watching them from the living room window.

"Your mom is a real charmer." Niall teased once they got in the car.

"She is just hard on me because of my past." Natalie shrugged. He could tell it was a sore subject for her and that her dad held the family together. Obvisiously something happened to them, but he clouded his mind with something different thinking he sounded ridiculous.

"What are you thinking?" Natalie grabbed his hand and intertwined their fingers.

"Just how beautiful you are." Niall gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. She blushed and he could tell she tried to hide it because no one has made her blush before.

They sat in silence for a few minutes. "So, where exactly are we going?" Natalie asked.

"You'll see. Well first, to eat, then it's a surprise." Niall answered her. They pulled up to the same beachside cafe that her and Liam went to about a week ago. She pushed that reflection away. She didn't want to think about him.

"How'd you know? That this is my favorite restaurant I mean." Natalie asked out of curiosity.

"It's a small town, baby." Niall smiled, but he seemed distant all of a sudden.

"Are you alright? Ever since you met my parents, you have seemed lost in thought or something." Natalie distressed. "No, never mind it's a crazy thought. Let's just have a fun time today." She grabbed his hand again. He rubbed his thumb along the back of her hand.

"I love you." Niall smiled to her, seeming more real now. She returned his smile as they walked up the sandy steps. She could smell the aroma of fresh fish. They sat down outside on the deck looking over the ocean.

"I forgot how beautiful it was in the fall." Natalie regarded. Niall nodded as if agreeing with her.

After a few minutes of overlooking the menu in silence, Niall mumbled, "You are going to meet my parents later today. Probably tonight though, it depends."

"Oh! Tell me what they're like! Do you think they'll like me?" Natalie was getting excited, but she wasn't very good at first impressions.

"They'll love you." Niall expressed. Natalie noticed his smile was elsewhere along with his mind. Natalie sighed and stared out into the water. If only she knew the real reason behind his thoughts.

There comes a moment in your life when you realize the truth, no matter the situation. Sometimes the truth can be atrocious, making you feel wretched. But sometimes the truth, it sets you free. Makes you vigorous. Maybe even a little bit of both.
