Gaster

I was so embarrassed. First I'd woken up in Grillby's house, confused and lost. I couldn't find my sons. And now, I just had to meet a coworker. Great. Absolutely perfect.

The stream of questions leaving her mouth went unanswered. She wouldn't understand it anyway, and my hands were too numb to sign. The lukewarm water she rubbed on my phalanges was very soothing, and I was tempted to fall asleep. NO! I can't. If I do, I just know they'll come back. I can't let that happen. My eye sockets slowly started to close. No. Stop. I can't do this. I can't. I can't. I squeezed my eye sockets shut as I felt them begin to glow. I can't see, but I can feel the burning sensation. This time, my eye sockets were filled with blue and orange glows. My sons. My babies. Being reminded of them was just another reason to stay awake.

I forced the glowing to stop. I opened my good eye, still unable to see clearly. I could see the blur of Tabby moving about, doing things that I was unable to identify. Asking for my glasses would be useless, as she wouldn't be able to understand.

My eye sockets closed again, and I was unable to stop them. The pure exhaustion took over as everything became black and quiet.
