I woke up to the noises of busy London. I hopped out of bed and stumbled over a box. We moved in four days ago and I still hadn't unpacked yet. I peered out the window and noticed it wasn't raining. I decided to go for a run seeing as though there was nowhere to surf. I missed surfing. I used to ride my beloved skate board down to the beach and surf every morning back at home.

I changed out of my pyjamas and put on my shoes. I left a note on the table telling Mum I had gone out for a run; I didn't want her to think I got kidnapped or anything. She's been quite paranoid lately with the move and all. I mean, the centre of London is quite different to a little suburb on the south coast of Australia. I grabbed an apple from the fridge and I was out the door.

I went for a nice run through the streets of London. It was quite relaxing actually, different to my usual surroundings. I stopped at a small park and did some quick exercises. On the way home, I took it easy and only jogged. After jogging through the streets and jogging up the stairwell, I finally reached our apartment door. The door was locked so I patted my pockets to find my keys, only to find I'd forgotten to pack them. I pounded on the door.

"Mum! MUM! OPEN UP! LET ME IN!" I shouted. No response. She must have gone out somewhere. I searched my pockets for my mobile. Turns out that was something else I'd forgotten. Great. What was I supposed to do now? Out of ideas, I sat in front of the door and waited for Mum to come home. I didn't know how long she'd be but it was the only idea I had right now. I'm not sure how long I was sitting there (I hadn't brought my watch either) but I heard a voice.

"Have you been kicked out already?" It was Liam.

I laughed. "No, I went for a run and I forgot my key and Mum's out so she won't let me and I didn't know what to do so I decided I'd wait for her and that's why I'm sitting in the hall."

"Oh I see. Well, would you like to wait in my apartment?" he asked.

"Nah. Don't worry man. It's alright."

"Oh come on! Just come inside, and then you can call your mum."

"Thanks but its ok. I'm fine," I protested.

"Are you saying that sitting in the hallway by yourself waiting for your Mum to open the door is 'fine'? Juts come inside!" Liam said.

"Oh alright. Thanks."

He opened his door and ushered me inside. "Sorry about the mess, there's no point cleaning up when they're only going to make it messy again." I looked inside and he was right. It was a mess. But hey, who was I to judge? My room was pretty messy too.

"The phone is over on the table," he motioned to a table covered in magazines, dirty clothes and pizza boxes. "Would you like something to eat? Something to drink?"

"Nah I'm right thanks. I'll just call my mum and get going."

Liam disappeared into the kitchen. After lots of searching, I finally found the phone and dialled my Mums mobile number. I was waiting for her to pick up when someone walked into the room. I turned around to find another guy. And he was naked! His eyes were really nice though, they were bright green and his hair was like... I don't know how to explain it. It was curly and wavy and boy was it awesome! God I'm not a normal teenage girl am I? A naked guy has just walked into the room and I'm looking at his eyes and his hair! "Morning!" he said and he started to walk away. "I'm sorry but have we met?"

"I'm Jaida, I live next door," I introduced myself.

"Oh cool. Nice to meet you. I'm Harry, Liam's friend," he yawned as he walked into the kitchen.

I redialled mums number for the tenth time when I heard yelling from the kitchen.

"For God's sake Harry! Put on some clothes! In case you haven't noticed, we have a guest!" Liam yelled.
