I want to be at school,
Where I know I'm safer.
I want to be with friends,
Who I know could give me hugs.
I would rather be doing math at school,
Then doing math at home.
I would rather be away from reality,
And slip into the plot of a book.
I wish I could escape,
But I'm still to young to try.
I'm still to young to do anything,
I'm still old enough to be drowned,
Old enough to act like I'm fine.
Young enough to cry, and be loud.
But yet I'm to young to die.
I want to be anywhere but here.
