Without a care she ran through the fields as she was chasing a honey bee, laughter erupted from her as she continued the chase. She was too caught up in her actions not to realize her feet were moving faster than her processing, in which she ended up tumbling down a hill. She got up and dusted herself off with another chuckle, she simply shrugged and went on with her day.
"Hwang Hyein!" A boy ran up to her, he was busy catching his breath as his head was hung low and his hands on his knees. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." She responded as she waited for him to catch his breath. After a minute the boy was fine as his breathing pattern returned to normal, the boy then reach for Hyein's hand.
"Promise me you're fine." He held up his pinky finger and waited for her to do the same.
"It's not that big of a deal, everyone falls every now and then." She tries to reassure him.
"I know, but I'm just worried that one day I won't be there to save you and I'll regret it." He tells her.
She promised him as she reached to meet his pinky, a bright and oblivious smile worn upon her face.
"We're too young to think that way, Jihoon." Hyein says to him as the walk together. "We're only seven, we should think about the important things right now like m&m cookies or scratch-and-smell stickers." Jihoon looks to her only to chuckle himself as he shook his head in disbelief.
Their pinkies were still linked as their arms swung back and forth, Jihoon telling Hyein he'll bandage Hyein's forming bruise, Hyein asking him for a Pororo bandage.
