Hyein sat at home on working on her assignments despite Kyulkyung's protesting on wanting to go out, but unlike her Hyein had her main priorities as she wanted to do well her first year. Every now and then her phone would ring and Hyein would have to restrain herself from looking knowing they were messages from Kyulkyung. Curiosity got the best of her as found herself scrolling through her text messages, the thought of finishing her assignments long gone. She also noticed the amount of missed calls she got from her, Hyein deciding to return her missed calls.
"Hwang Hyein!" Hyein flinches at Kyulkyung's tone as she pulls the phone away from her ear. "Why haven't you been answering my calls or messages?"
"I've been working on assignments?" It sounded more of a question rather than an answer as if it wasn't obvious enough. "We talked about this during school."
"I know, but I was hoping you would've changed your mind." Kyulkyung trailed off. Hyein narrowed her eyes after hearing Kyulkyung's tone, Hyein sensed something more than just an innocent call.
"What're you planning?" Hyein asks, her tone mirroring her friend's. "Clearly you're planning something, your tone gives it away."
"Well," Hyein shook her head in disbelief but couldn't find herself to be mad at Kyulkyung. "I was wondering you'd want to hang out with a few friends from class."
"Kyulkyung." Hyein sighed as she looked at her incompleted assignments.
"Hyein," Kyulkyung's tone mimicked Hyein's. "Please, I'll buy you food and whatever else you want." Hyein thought for a moment before making a final decision, then again she could always finish the assignments over the weekend.
