Steve propped up his computer, sucking in a shaky breath.

What if she found someone new?

They hadn't talked in months. Steve was stationed halfway across the world and Diana had her own battles to fight; this was their only time to have a conversation.

"Hello?" Steve finally said, forcing his finger to click one of the buttons.

"Steve!" Diana's face lit up in the screen. Pushing aside a bottle of water, she smiled sheepishly.

"Saying I missed you wouldn't nearly cover all of it. I was a wreck," He admitted with a grin.

"Oh Steve I missed you too! Here!" She wrapped her arms around her device. "Computer hug!"

Steve hugged back, not nearly as enthusiastic.

"What's wrong?" Diana asked with a pout. "I'm all the way in Michigan and I can still feel your loving--Although it's not very strong."

"I'm sorry Diana, it's been so tough out here. You already know that, I mean you pretty much always have to fight. I don't know how I'd live a life like yours."

"Steve, I love you. I always will love you. It's fine, we're not all Amazon warriors," Diana commented with a giggle. "But please, I love you. Just love me back. Even if you're tired."

Steve leaned closer to the screen, as he brushed his hair to smooth it down.

"I know. And I love you. You're the rainbow to my rain. You're the flower to my Sun. The lyrics to my rhythm. If I haven't proved my love yet, I'll make sure I do now."

Steve got up, leaving the Skype window still open.

"Where are you going?" Diana yelled out, her smile now completely dropping.

"Steve!" Diana called, bringing the water bottle back towards her. "Look! I made hot chocolate from your recipe!" She furiously shook the bottle.

Trying to calm her nerves, Diana took a couple small sips.

Steve did love her.

He wasn't leaving her.

Where was he?

It had probably only been two seconds, but it felt like two centuries.

Steve appeared back in the frame. "What's that bottle you got there?" He asked, hiding something behind his back.

"Hot chocolate...Are you hiding something from me?"

"I didn't want to give you this until I got back home, but it seems like you need it now more than ever. I see that you're worried, and that's fine."

"Steve Rockwell Trevor, what are you keeping?" Diana smirked.

"Something I'm sure you'll enjoy. Something to prove my love to you."

"And what could that possibly be?" She secretly enjoyed this game of back in forth between the two.

"I wonder what it could be," Steve inquired, looking off in the distance. "It could be a horse, a car, a tree, it could really be anything."

"It has to be something," Diana added. "And I think it'd be best if you showed me what it was."

Steve settled himself back in his chair, revealing Christmas wrapping paper.

"First things first, I should clear this up. This was a gift I got you for Christmas. I'm coming home the twenty-third, so that's why it's in this wrapping. Second off, I made this completely by hand."
