I woke up and looked over at Mr. Jones sleeping in a chair. I slowly got up and looked at the time. It was 6 o'clock in the morning. I only got like 3 hours of sleep so I was not about to go to school. I grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom to take a warm shower. I turned on the shower and started playing some music. I took off my panties and got in the shower.

I heard my phone buzz right as I was washing my body. I turned the shower water off and put a towel around my wet body. I picked up my phone and automatically dropped it when I saw who it was. I could've sworn I deleted my phone number from his phone number from his phone but looks like he remembered it or got it again. I scratched out most of my information when I could. I read the text and nearly had an anxiety attack.

"You know it's illegal to be sleeping with a teacher, right?"

I'm not sleeping with him you f**king creep!" I texted Mr. Matthews back and slammed my phone on the floor. Mr. Jones knocked on the door and found me on the floor crying. He looked at my phone and saw the messages. He sighed and got very frustrated.

"F**k" he rubbed his face.

The ride to Bass High was a little too quiet. I wanted to ride with Mr. Jones to talk it out but it didn't go as planned. There was no whistle. It was dead silence. Once again, I felt depressed. Everything that was going wrong was my fault. Me and Mr. Jones didn't do anything but now it looks like it because he stayed the night. Mr. Matthews knew about that crush that I have on Mr. Jones too so he could easily use that against the both of us. I just wanted to run away. When Mr. Jones stopped at a red light, I got out of the car and started walking.

"What the hell?!" Mr. Jones yelled from the car. Tears started rolling down as I ignored him. I was emotionally and physically messed up more than he thought. I couldn't believe I was saying this but I was too vulnerable. I walked past every bus stop and every street. A car pulled up next to me very slowly. Mr. Jones opened the door signaling for me to get in the car.

"Marie please get back in the car, this isn't safe" Mr. Jones softly said as I stood there staring at him. I sighed and got in the car. I slammed the door and saw Mr. Jones furrowing his eyebrows. Once again, it was extremely quiet until we reached a red light.

"Are you mad at me?" I nervously asked.

"No, I'm not mad at you. I'm just upset that he has so much power over you because no one wants to believe. Now you can't even sleep at night without wondering if he's watching" Mr. Jones said.

"Yeah it's just getting more creepy" I'm happy that he wasn't mad at me. Now that he reassured me that he wasn't mad at me, I started feeling less lonely since Mr. Jones told me that. We passed Northwestern High School. I forgot Bass High wasn't too far from Northwestern. They were both crazy.  Mr. Jones pulled up in the parking lot next to the principals. I went in the school with him as kids started coming in. Teachers don't come 30 minutes before school starts anymore. By this time I should've enrolled but I was dumb enough to stay at Oakland High.

"Skipping school?" a familiar voice asked as I was walking to the main office. I turned around to see Mr. Matthews walking with the assistant principal, Mrs. Johnson. Mr. Jones turned around and tried to swing on Mr. Matthews. He dodged and laughed like the devil. Mrs. White rushed out of the office with her mouth wide open.

"What the hell is going on here?" she yelled looking at the both of them.

"This son of a b**ch has been abusing and sexually harassing Marie" I started bumping my head against the wall until I realized Mr. Matthews was looking deep in my soul. He acted as if he wanted to punch me but made the realization that he couldn't lay a hand on me.
