Third person's POV:
The room was simply silent and awkward. It was a thoughtful silence as some of the world's most powerful beings sat down. The air was tensed and the dimly lit room created a pressured atmosphere. It was as if the eve of their physics exams and it was the first time a bunch of students had their books in front of them trying to figure out what's potential difference or emf or even a voltmeter.
"We need info." Nian broke in," And to do that,we need someone on the inside to tell us but.."
"We aren't sure who they are yet and what's their goal. Are the humans trying to rebel after all those times? What do you think Lucy?" Damien continued even though a ball of fire missed him by inches and went straight on the wall which made a hole into it.
"Damien,stop messing around, would you?" Shawn said while a chuckle left him and he quickly took a serious face as Lucifer glared at him.
"Then,how about this,I think that compared to us,I think that our mates are being targeted."
"What?!" Four loud voices exclaimed,barely hiding their anger.
"But it makes sense now that you say that Luc. Damn my demon won't calm down since then. I feel this bad premonition and I even put barriers around him and Nat."Shawn declared.
"We have to figure this out and quick." Nian stated," Or I think I would go crazy."
"Wait,"everyone's attention turned to Luka,werewolf king,"Could it be they are moving again. I mean the ones from the eighties?"
A scowl covered their faces. What happened them had left a deep scar on their heart and the wounds were still healing.
That had been a time of pain,anger,regrets. Amongst those, the terrifying fear of losing their loved ones. The uncertainties that crept on their backs and the lethal arrows from those with an insatiable thirst for power which cut through their hearts.
"I don't want to feel that again. This time I won't let that happen. I promised back then. "Luc said through clenched teeth as his heart was filled with sadness.
"Don't worry,this time we won't stay quiet. Its a war!" Declared Shawn.
They all sat like that in those negative,dark feelings when a bang sounded on the door.
Luc nodded at them before disappearing. " You can count on me!"
Now the males' attention were at the door as the could already feel the heat of their little mates behind those doors.
"Fuck he makes me crazy." Said Luka with a smile at the thought of his mate behind those doors giggling as he must be to something naughty.
"We're all the same,insanely in love with them." Shawn couldn't hide the excitement in his voice.
"Totally wrapped around their fingers." Damien stated.
"Now let's see what our mates are up to."
