Frozen 2

Chapter 7

                                Two Months Later

Kai stood next to Elsa, looking down at Arendelle in the distance. Hans was confined was once again and Arendelle was finally save. Elsa was back in the ice palace, smiling as she glared down at her kingdom.

"I'm so happy," Elsa said. "I'm so glad we've been together for two months."

"I know," Kai said. "We should go back to Arendelle. I know this place is romantic, but we always go here. We should at least go somewhere different."

The queen sighed. "I like it here, but it brings back so many memories."

"You always say that. Was it because you built it?"

"No," Elsa said. She sighed. "I struck my sister in her heart here."

"Oh," Kai said, looking down. "She looks fine, now."

"Yeah, I know. About a year ago I froze all of Arendelle."

"What?" Kai said. "I don't believe you."

"It's true! It was on my Coronation Day."

"Wow, that's bad."

"I know. I ran into the mountains and built myself a palace so I could stay there."

"But, wouldn't it be lonely?"

"Yeah, but at least I was free." Elsa glanced around the palace. "I was almost killed here as well."

"That's not good."

"It wasn't. After I struck my sister, I knew she would freeze into solid ice."

"Did she?"

"Yes."

"But how is she alive?" Kai wondered.

"Love will thaw a frozen heart," Elsa replied.

Elsa and Kai returned to Arendelle. Anna was sitting next to the castle doors, staring at the sky. She looked a bit dazed.

"What are you doing?" Elsa asked.

"I have no idea," Anna said, smiling. "So, how was your date?"

"Who said anything about a date?" The queen said nervously. "We're not having a date."

Anna smiled. "You go out with Kai all the time. You're obviously in love, Elsa."

"Where's Kristoff?" Kai asked, attempting to change the suject.

"Gathering ice," The princess replied. She glared at Elsa. "So, you thought that you would never get true love, but now-"

Suddenly, Lupus ran up to Anna, wagging his tail.

Anna screamed and fell over on her back. "Where did this come from?"

"Lupus is my..." Kai hesitated. "...Pet?"

"I'm afraid of wolves! You should know that!"

Elsa was puzzled. "Since when?"

"They tried to eat me!"

Kai glared at Anna's slender physique. "Are you sure they tried to eat you? You're so thin."

"I'm fine!" Anna hissed. She tried to kick Lupus away.

Elsa giggled. "He has a point."

Kai helped Anna up. "You're so light!" He said., lifting her up. "How much do weigh?"

"I don't know," Anna said, brushing the dirt off her dress. "I don't want to know. Can you stop talking about me?"

Lupus licked the princess in her face. She grimaced. "Ew..."

"Lupus can guard Arendelle," Kai suggested. "I'm sure he can do it."

 Lupus yawned and rolled over on his back. He stared at Anna and seemed to smile at her.

Anna stared at the wolf. "I guess he's fine, as long as he doesn't bite off my arm."

"He won't," Kai said, stroking his "pet". "You have no meat on your bones anyways."

"Stop insulting me!" The princess yelled, her voice slightly cracking.

Elsa laughed anew.

"Do you think Hans will come back?" Kai asked.

"No," The queen said. "He's now in solitary confinement."
