Chapter 11

Anna walked down the mountain, carrying Elsa. Kristoff let the princess ride on Sven with him, so she did. Anna held Elsa tightly so she wouldn't clumsily drop her again as Sven raced down the mountain.

"We have to go back to Arendelle," Elsa said weakly. "Hans and Valdemar won't leave without a fight."

"You're not going to fight," Anna retorted. "I won't let you get hurt again."

The queen smiled. "I know you're trying to help me, but I am stronger than you."

"Excuse me? I am quite skilled in defense."

"Yeah, yeah."

Soon, they made it to Arendelle. Standing at the castle doors was Valdemar. He held a sword by it's hilt, the blade facing towards the ground. Anna steadily got off of Sven and glared around. Adrian walked up to the princess and took Elsa.

"I got her," He said.

Anna smiled. "Thank you." She fixed her gaze on Valdemar's. "Now, leave!"

Suddenly, the castle doors swung open. Hans walked out, sheathing a sword. He glared at Elsa and gasped. "She's.... Alive?"

The princess nodded. "Yeah, she is. Now, leave! You'll never rule Arendelle."

Hans laughed. "Wow, you really thing I still want to rule Arendelle? You really are stupid. All I want is my revenge."

"Revenge?" Anna was bewildered.

Hans unsheathed his sword and almost sliced the princess. She was able to dodge his blow. He struck again, but cut her on her wrist.

Elsa gasped and trashed around in Adrian's grasp. He let her go. She ran up to Hans and shot a sharp shard of ice out of her palm.

Hans dodged it and swung his sword at her. He missed her throat by a centimeter. Furious, Kai ran up to the enemy and punched him in his face. Valiant almost scorched Adrian with a fiery blast, but he missed him. Swiftly, Adrian grabbed Valdemar's sword and cloaked it in ice. He attempted to strike his foe. Hans used his sword to dodge the blows.

Valdemar glared at Anna and blasted fire at her. He was able to burn her left arm. Elsa gasped and shot a blast of ice at him, but the was able to melt it. Valdemar laughed as fire blasted from his palms, aiming at the queen. Elsa shot a beam of ice at his flames. The fire swiftly melted. The flames scorched Elsa, leaving several burn-marks on her.

"ELSA!" Anna's voice was even louder. She gazed at Valdemar evilly. Drawing back a fist, the princess punched him with all of her force. He fell to the ground, fainted. Anna's hand soon stung with pain. She ignored it and hugged her sister.

Adrian was still fighting Hans. The foe kept on dodging his strikes. Hans was able to knock Kai's sword out of his grasp. The foe almost struck his opponent in his throat. Adrian knew he would never win, so he cowered down and closed his eyes. 

Elsa stared at Adrian and gasped. "Stop!" She yelled. She fired a extremely frigid blast of ice at Hans. It struck him right in his heart.

Hans fell to the ground, clentching his chest.

Elsa ran up to him. "Why did you even do this?" She asked. "You did not have to."

"I just wanted my revenge," He answered. "I should not have tried to take over Arendelle a year ago. I am... Sorry."

The queen sighed. "You should have told me this before I froze your heart. But, I accept your apology."

Hans froze completely solid.

Elsa sighed anew and looked down. "I'm sorry," She said.

Adrian opened his eyes and stood up. He gazed at frozen Hans and gasped. He then glared at Elsa and said, "Did you... Save me?"

Elsa nodded. "I did. I am sorry I..."

"You don't need to apologize," He said. He glared at Hans anew. "How did you do that anyways?"

"I was just so furious," The queen retorted.

Adrian smiled. "Thank you." He hugged Elsa and glared at her wounds. "Valdemar burned you....."

"I know," The queen said.

"I forgave Hans," Elsa said.

"What? Why?"

"He apologized."

"Oh."

Anna glared at her fists. They were covered in bruises. She then glared at Elsa and smiled. "Looks like you do have a true love."

Elsa backed away from Adrian. She smiled nervously and said, "Um, no. It's not like that."

Anna smiled anew. "Yeah it is!"

"Stop it, Anna!" Her sister said, not trying to sound angry.

The princess laughed. "You guys are in a full-blown relationship! You saved his life!"

The queen rolled her eyes. She glared at Valdemar and said, "What are we going to do with him?"

Suddenly, the enemy woke up. He glared around and said, "What happened? Where am I? Who are you?"

Elsa grimaced and looked at Lupus, who was sitting calmly on the ground. "Lupus," She said, "Get him!"

The wolf obeyed and leaped onto the enemy. He gripped his teeth onto the collar of Valdemar's coat collar and dragged him away into the woods. 

"What is he going to do with him?" Anna asked.

"He's taking him far, far away," Elsa replied.

Soon, all of the residents of Arendelle began walking towards Elsa. They were all amazed to see Hans frozen solid.

"What happened?" A man asked.

"Who did that?" A lady wondered.

Elsa stood up straight. "I did," She said. "Arendelle is finally safe."
