The Perfect Couple

Tris POV:

I wake up screaming.

Tobias runs in and sits next to me on the bed.

"Is everything okay?", he asks looking worried.

I smile tiredly, "I'm fine, just a nightmare again."

He looks at me and then down at his hands and says, "I know what your having nightmares about... I wish I could have gotten to you before David shot you. I'm just so happy you're alive. Tris-"

Before he finishes what he's saying, he kisses my cheek.

"I love you", he finishes.

I smile and before I can respond he kisses my lips. He kisses me slowly and passionately, I love this about him; he understands me.

Even though the terror I went through of almost dying--Well, faked dying-- I still can't get over that I almost died that day. We planed on David shooting me with my bullet proof vest on, except he hit me in the leg and arm instead, which was unprotected. All I remember was Cara running around while Tobias was in shock. We forgot to tell him about our Plan, we ran out of time too.

Tobias pulls away from me and looks at me concerned, he knows I'm thinking about something else.

"I wish I could make you're pain go away...", he says looking away.

"You can though," I say. I gently grab his waist and pull him towards me.

"Just like this...", I whisper in his ear.

I start to kiss him along his jaw to his lips. He's so strong, so confident. I feel safe.

He pulls me on his lap, me facing towards him, and kisses each Raven on my collar bone.

I smile and close my eyes.

I love him so much, I think.

Tobias looks at me and smiles.

"Four", I say,

"And Six", he finishes.
