Bitter-Sweet Revenge

Tris POV:
I enter Our room and sit on the bed, to frustrated to do anything else. "Why would Tobias like that girl? She's prettier than I am, but ugh," I think. I put my face in my hands and squeeze my eyes shut.
I then hear someone open the door.
"Go away Tobias and go hang out with that pretty girl you like instead!" I snap.
"Uh.." A voice says. I look up, wait, that's not Tobias?
A tall boy with dark brown hair and grey eyes stands in the door way.
I stare at him for a few seconds before realizing he's talking to me.
"...And I'm sorry about walking in, I get pretty lost here, ya know," he finishes looking at his shoes.
My mind races, "oh, uh, it's okay. Your not bothering me," I get up and walk towards him, "I'm Tris."
He smiles, "Hi Tris. My names Cole."
I smile a little, "he's pretty cute," I think.
All of a sudden an evil plan forms in my mind, revenge.
My Plan: When Tobias walks in tonight, I'll be talking with Cole and he will get jealous and apologize. Perfect.
I then invite Cole to come in and sit and talk.
"Well, I don't want to be bothering you.." He starts to say.
"Oh, nonsense! We can talk, I'm kinda bored anyway," I say trying to get him convinced.
He finally agrees and I go get him a soda from the fridge and we sit at the table. After more than an hour of talking, I found out Cole is a pretty nice guy. I found out he's 17, used to be Amity and a Dauntless Transfer. And that he has a little sister.
"Tris..." He says, "I know this may sound weird, but you're really beautiful."
I blush and smile.
"Thanks Cole, that's nice of you to say," I say kindly.
He then smiles and takes my hand. I don't pull away.
He smiles again, and so do I. Then he leans in and kisses my lips. He tastes like the fizzy soda he's been drinking.
Then I hear the door click open.
"Tris?" Tobias asks.

Tobias POV:
"Tris..?" I ask as I walk further into the room and turn into the kitchen.
I came to apologize, I hope she's cooled down enough to talk to me.
"Tris-" I start to say.
"Tobias!" Tris says standing up quickly turning away from Cole. "What are you doing here?". She says trying to sound defensive. But there's no excuse for kissing another guy.
"I came to apologize," I say staring at her, "but it seems you're too 'busy' away."
I see the hurt on her eyes and I turn away heading for the door, but she grabs my arm.
"Tobias, wait!" She begs, "I don't like Cole..." She glances at Cole but he just stares at his hands.
"I love you..." She finishes, with tears filling up her eyes.
I pull away from her grasp, "Why were you kissing him then Tris!?" I say raising my voice.
"I... I wanted to make you jealous...I don't want you to be with that girl that you flirt with, " She explains.
I sigh, "Tris...I don't like that girl, Emily. And honestly? She's too weird for me," I say managing a laugh.
Tris smiles a little and says, "Oh."
I pull her close to me and I kiss her forehead, "I'll never leave you.." I whisper on her ear.
She smiles and sighs.
"I should go then," Cole mumbles and quickly slips out the door.
"Wait! Cole!" Tris shouts after him, but he doesn't hear.
Tris frowns and a tear falls onto her cheek.
"I'm sorry for kissing Cole..." She says sounding defeated.
"I'm sorry for flirting with Emily..." I say quietly.
I take her face in my hands and wipe her tears away.
I pull her close to me again by her waist and rest my forehead on hers.
I'm happy to have her in my arms again. She's so beautiful.
And then I kiss her.
I kiss her lips softly and passionately and I hear her sigh.
I pull away just enough to say, "I love you Tris."
"I love you too Tobias," she responds.
And that's all I needed to hear.
