Endless Love

Tris's POV:

I sit alone in my room thinking about how alone I feel sometimes. Even though I have Tobias I still feel lonely. I'm tying to figure out what this means.
As I'm in mid-thought Uriah knocks on the door and walks in.
"Hey Tris", he says with a wide smile.
His smile makes me feel better.
"Hey Uriah", I reply.
"Sooo," he begins to say. He's trying to tease me, I can tell. "Tobias told me he wants to talk with you," he smirks, "Alone."
I blush and then laugh, "Where?" I ask.
"In the Amity Garden," he says slipping quickly out the door.
I smile and shake my head. Uriah is such a silly guy. That's what makes him so great, he's always there to cheer you up.
Once I arrive in the Amity Garden, I look around in the dark calling Tobias name. "Tobias?" I call out.
"Over here Tris!" I hear him yell from a distance.
I walk towards his voice and I see him sitting under a tall flowering tree. He looks so handsome, I think.
I sit down next to him and he smiles at me.
"Hey Tris," he starts to say, I can tell he's nervous. "I know you love me, and I really want to spend the rest of my life with you, but I have to know you love me back the same way."
I turn so I'm facing him and look in his eyes. "I love you Tobias Eaton, and I always will."
Once I said this, he looks up at the night sky and smiles.
Then before I realize what's happening, he takes my hand and kisses my lips softly. I then place my free hand on his shoulder and he kisses me again but this time more confidently. I smile through his kiss and I notice there's something in my hand.
I pull away from him and look closer at the small object in my hand. He must have slipped it in my palm when he held my hand, I think.
I hold the object up to the moon light and notice it's a ring. I look over at Tobias. I can't say anything or do anything, all I can do is stare at him with my mouth open.
"Tris," he says softly, "Will You Marry Me?"
