Madison and Iain were planning for their baby. Madison was excited to have a little girl. They had decided to name her Aurora-Rose.

When Madison woke that morning, she felt someone rubbing her bump. She grinned at Iain. "I think she knows you're her daddy by now."
"Well I'm hoping she does. Because I'm never letting her out of my sight. No man is going near her," Iain said.
Madison laughed. "She'll be a little rebel. Like mummy," she said.
"Please no. I can't handle both of you," Iain joked. Madison laughed and kissed him. Iain kissed back.

They went downstairs and saw Roxy making breakfast.
"I thought I would make breakfast for the mummy to be," Roxy said.
"What about me?" Iain joked.
Roxy smirked. "I made you some too."

Madison and Iain sat down. Roxy tried to sneak back upstairs.
"Tell David to come down for breakfast too," Iain called.
"Damn," Roxy mumbled. Madison laughed.
"Can't kid a kidda," Iain said.

Madison sat down and ate the bacon. She grinned at Iain. "Not long till you're doing nightfeeds," she said.
"I know. I actually can't wait. I get a few weeks off to get used to being a father," Iain said.

David walked in with Roxy. Madison smiled. "Morning. Next time you try and discreetly have sex, at least make sure the door is closed properly," she teased.
Roxy and David blushed bright red. Iain chuckled.
"Sit down you two. Here are two plates of breakfast," he said.

They all sat down together. David asked Madison about her baby.
"She's doing okay. My bump is getting so big now," Madison said. She rubbed her bump gently.
"You'll be an amazing mum," David told her.
"Aw thanks David."

Iain wrapped an arm around Madison and kissed her neck.
"Not at the table," Roxy teased.
Iain smirked. "Well, you two shouldn't have sex with the door open."
Roxy grinned. "Hilarious you. Madison, how do you put up with him?"
"For the sex," Madison teased.

Soon enough, they were on the way to work. Iain was singing. "Iain! My niece would like to have hearing when she's here," Roxy said.
"Oi! Don't turn my baby against me."

When they arrived at work, Iain smiled. "Let's go and get some patients looked after," he said.
"Have fun babe."
Roxy went over to reception to help Noel. Madison grinned at David.
"Me, you and bump are on shifts together," Madison said.

They went to look after a toddler with a broken leg. David began to put the plaster cast on her leg.
"Have you ever wanted another kid?" Madison asked David.
David smiled. "I'd love another one."

Madison nodded and helped him to finish the cast. When she discharged the little girl, Iain and Jez came in with a patient.
Iain smiled. "Everything okay?" He asked.
"Yeah. It's amazing. Roro is kicking," she replied as she rubbed her stomach.
Iain grinned and kissed her cheek. "That's my girl. The first female Dean footballer."

Iain took Madison to the office. He locked the door and grinned. "So, how's the hormones?"
"Why do you ask?" Madison replied as she sat down on the desk.
Iain smirked. "Well, we can always sort them out."
"I suppose we could," Madison said. Iain smirked and kissed her passionately. Madison kissed back and felt Iain pull down her trousers and pants.

Soon enough Iain pushed in. Madison moaned into his mouth.
"I needed that," she said. Iain chuckled and smiled.
"Me too."

They began to make love. The desk was hitting off the wall but they didn't care. They needed each other.

When they'd both climaxed, Iain pulled away. Madison was breathless. "Well damn."
"Still do that?"
Madison grinned and kissed him. Iain kissed her back. "10 weeks until our little girl is here," he said.
Madison smiled and rubbed her bump. "I know. I think she'll arrive a few days after her due date."

Madison went back inside the ED. She was beginning to feel some twinges in her stomach. She put it to the back of her mind though.

~~~
A few hours later, Madison went back home. The twinges were getting worse. She didn't know what to do.
Suddenly, a black range rover came crashing into the side of her car. Thankfully, Madison didn't lose conciousness. Madison pulled herself out of the car. She had her phone but it was smashed. The rain poured down.
Madison fell to the floor. She was alone and didn't know what to do. She felt her water break.
Iain was trying to find Madison. He saw Charlie. "Have you seen Madison?" He asked.
"Not since Connie sent her home about an hour ago," Charlie replied.
Madison knew she was going to die. She had blood oozing from her head. She could also feel her baby coming out. "I-Iain," she mumbled.
Madison laid down. She couldn't feel any pain but she wanted to cry.
"Iain," she sobbed. Madison pushed when she felt ready to. She needed her little girl out to give her the chance of survival.
Madison smiled when she heard Aurora crying. She held her as she felt herself passing out.
Iain and Roxy were panicking.
"Track her iPhone!" Roxy said. Iain began to track it. Roxy drove while Iain told her where to go.
Iain eventually found Madison's location. "Why's she stopped in the rain?" Iain asked.
"I don't know."
Soon enough, they arrived at Madison's location. They both paled when they saw Madison's car smashed. "I-Iain."
"It'll be alright. I promise."
They ran over. Iain heard a faint crying. He looked to see his daughter had been born but she looked near death. Like Madison did.
Soon, an ambulance arrived. Iain looked at Roxy. "Drive the car to the ED."
"Okay. I'll ring Jez."
They got to the ED. Madison and Aurora were wheeled in immediately.
Roxy got out and ran to David.
"Will they be okay?" she sobbed. David held her tightly.
"I'm going to go help. You need to be with your brother," David said. Roxy nodded.
David went into resus and Roxy ran to Iain. Iain was in hysterics.
"Shh, it's okay," Roxy tried to comfort.
Iain scoffed. "We don't know that Rox."
"They're in the best place possible."
The door to resus opened and Connie came out. "They're both stable. The baby has had to go to NeoNatal where they can monitor her due to her being premature."
"How's Madison?"
Connie looked at them. "Madison lost a lot of blood. She's severly anaemic. She needs a transfusion."
Iain walked into resus to see Madison. He got his first glimpse of Aurora. She was being taken to NeoNatal. Madison was asleep. Iain knew he would have to be the strong one. But for how long?
