Madison and Iain knew they would have to keep their relationship quiet from Jez. They both knew he wouldn't understand.

Madison woke that morning and smiled. Iain had stayed over. Madison cuddled into him. "Morning gorgeous."

Madison grinned. "Morning handsome. How's your back this morning?" She asked.

"It's stinging."

Madison went into work. She arrived the same time as Iain. "Morning Sparkles."

"Iain. Life treating you good?" Madison asked. She knew they were acting friends.

"Can't complain. Had a beautiful girl last night. Scratched half me back though," Iain replied.

Madison tried to hide her smirk. "Oh she sounds terrible. What did you do to her?"

"Made her moan my name."

Madison stood with Noel. Roxy came over. "How's you?" Madison asked.

"I'm good thank you. I stayed with David last night," Roxy replied.

Madison smiled at her. "I do hope protection was used."

Roxy blushed. "We didn't do anything apart from talk," she said.

Jez and Iain were playing basketball. Jez smirked. "What did you get up to last night old man?"

"I met an amazing bird and spent the evening in bed with her. Scratched most of me back." Iain said as he scored.

"Lucky. Mum thinks Madison is seeing someone. She don't come over anymore."

Iain nodded. "Well she's an adult now so I'm sure she's fine."

Madison grinned as Iain walked in with a casualty. "Alright Sparkles?" Iain asked as he signed the patient in.

Madison nodded.  "Can't complain. Slightly tired."

"Why? Someone keep you up?"

"Yeah. He's a sex God."

Iain went back to the paramedic station.  He text Madison.

Iain smirked. He knew he was falling harder for Madison. He wanted to be with her.

Madison and Roxy were standing in reception. Rita came over. She had a black eye. "Have you seen Iain?"

Madison shook her head. "Last time I saw him, he was heading to the paramedics station."

"Thanks."

Iain and Jez were sorting out the ambulance. "Look who's here," Jez said.

Iain looked up and saw Rita. "What?"

"We need to talk."

Iain frowned. "Did Mark do that?"

"Don't worry about it. I just wanted to say I'm sorry for making you feel like you had to be with me," Rita said.

A few hours later.

The shift had eventually finished. Madison met with Roxy. They went outside and saw Iain and Rita. Iain looks fuming. "You lied to another woman about being hit!" Louise yelled.

Madison was confused. "What?"

"Rita lied about her ex-husband hitting her. She hit it off a car door," Louise said.

Madison didn't know what to say. She looked at Rita. "That's messed up! Why lie?" She asked.

Iain glared. "People round here need to know how they're working with. You stay away from me!"

Madison went to the pub with the ED staff. She couldn't believe that Rita had lied about being hit. She knew Iain would be affected to the most because it was him who had been lied to.

Madison hid a secret though. It had happened to her.
