Madison had changed her mind on their daughter's name. She wanted to name her Esmè-Faith. Iain didn't care what her name was. He just wanted his daughter at home.

Madison was still in the hospital after the traumatic birth. But what had made everything worse, was that Roxy had betrayed her. She had sided with David after what had happened.

Iain walked into the room and smiled. "Hello gorgeous. How are you?" He asked.

"I'm okay. How's Esmè?"

Iain nodded. "She's brewing just fine. She's gorgeous."

Madison nodded and sighed. She knew that everything had changed for her. She looked at Iain. "I can't believe what happened," she mumbled.

Iain took her hand. "It'll be fine babe. I promise."

Three Weeks Later

Madison and Iain were finally taking Esmè home. Both of them were anxious about it as their daughter was only little and neither of them knew what they were doing with a baby.

Iain looked at her as she put Esmè into the car seat. "I thought we could take her down to the ED?"

"Oh... sure."

Iain frowned. "Babe? You okay?"

Madison shrugged. "I don't know. It's like... we're now responsible for this little girl. This tiny little girl and if anything goes wrong, it's down to us."

Iain smiled. "Look. Our girl is going to be fine. She has us here for her. And we're not going to let anything happen to her," he said.

"Promise?"

"Yes. I promise."

Charlie and Duffy walked towards Madison and Iain when they walked in with Esmè. Duffy smiled. "She's beautiful. Congratulations."

"She gets that from her mummy. Because daddy is an ogre," Iain joked.

Madison rolled her eyes and sighed. Duffy looked to her. "Have either of you spoke to Roxy?" She asked.

Iain sighed. "She's working at an ED in Manchester. She's doing okay though. For the best really."

Duffy smiled. "I understand that. But it will all be okay."

The two of them took their daughter home. Iain carried her in and smiled. "It's not the best place baby. But it's your home," he said.

"Iain. It's perfect. And you know it is. So please. This is our home. Us and our little girl. Okay?"

Iain nodded. He kissed her lips gently and smiled. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Iain got Esmè settled into the Moses basket. He looked at her as she slept peacefully. "You know, now she's here, we could look into getting a proper house. This flat is good for two. But when she's getting older."

"Babe. The flat is fine. It's baby proof. And she won't be crawling just yet. She'll be in bouncer or her Moses basket. And that's fine. When she's older, we can look at getting a house. But for now, let's enjoy our perfect little home with our perfect daughter," Madison said.

Iain nodded and kissed her again. "I want her to have everything I didn't have. The perfect home life," he told her.

"And she will. She has us. And maybe she'll have a little brother or sister in the future. But she will always have you and me. Promise?"

"I promise."

The two of them kissed gently. But neither of them were aware of how much their daughter was going to change their lives.
