Nine.
I don't know how and I don't know why but I guess this was the point where I was beginning to fall subconsciously for Aston. Falling in love that is.
"Morning Jess," he grinned, with a happy sigh as I moved my head off his chest alarmingly fast trying to regain memory of last nights events. Soon my eyes glazed over with a blink and a few tears slid over my already tear stained cheeks. "Don't cry, sweetheart." Aston wrapped his arms round me protectively, stroking my hair.
"Get off me." I whimpered, struggling out of his hug and standing up away from him.
"Have I done something wrong?" Aston panicked, his brown eyes growing larger and more apologetic.
"You just being here...is...is wrong," I stuttered before my eyes scanned over Marvin. "I know you're awake, Marv." I watched as his lips awoke first before his eyes flickered open, he grinned.
"Didn't wanna ruin your moment." Marvin winked.
"There was no moment." I said, harshly.
"Looks like we've out stayed our welcome. Come on, Ast." Marvin mumbled.
"Why are you being like this? One minute you're nice to me, the next you hate me." Aston asked as he followed Marvin out the room.
"I'm scared in case I fall in love with you, again." I whispered as Aston walked past.
"Really?" Aston whispered back and I gave a brief nod, truthfully before turning and walking to the door, opening it for them and preparing to watch them leave.
"We'll be back." Marvin couldn't wipe the grin off his face for some reason. I shot him a weak smile before Aston approached me to leave.
"Guess this is goodbye for a while." Aston said, searching my eyes for some emotion to hold him back from leaving. I gave him nothing and he breathed a dissatisfied sigh before closing the door behind him and Marvin. Silence.
