Two.

I got home and put the kettle on, forgetting that I had promised Marvin to visit his house but I soon put off the idea once I remembered Rochelle probably wouldn't like me that much. I sighed, no one really liked me that much. I guess Marvin, Adam, Lucy, Alice and Charlie did, sort of.

My phone continuously rang and 'Mr. Humes' flashed on my screen. I braced myself for what lecture I was going to face.

"Hello?"

He muttered something and I heard noise in the backround and cups being cleared away. They were still at the coffee shop. "Jess, come back here," Marvin said, sternly. "Now."

I hung up without replying, do I go back? No because what would I say. No, I'm not going back.

Of course, I ended up going back.

"Damn it." Alice muttered as I walked back in the coffee shop as she handed money to Lucy. "Jess, I thought you were gonna resist coming back. Now you owe me a fiver."

"Thanks, Jessica." Lucy winked, laughing, before shoving the crumpled note into her jacket pocket.

Aston shook his head at me, he got the milkshake out of his hair.

"Why did you do it?" Marvin asked from behind me. I turned round to answer him.

"Do what?"

"You know what." He growled.

I shrugged, "I was angry."

"Then what do you say?"

"I'm not two."

"Stop acting like it then."

"Fine, I'm sorry Aston."

"I'm sorry too." Aston replied, holding out his hand. I just looked at it and he awkwardly pulled it back, digging it into his jeans.

"Stop being so awkward you two, what happened in the past is over." Adam said, placing his hand on Aston's shoulder. I rose an eyebrow.

"Can I go now?" I asked, irritated as I tried to get past Marvin but he blocked me.

"Not until you and Aston actually become friends again." Marvin replied and I saw the corners of Aston's lips turn up.

"No. Way." I said, this time I was being a lot firmer.

"You'll thank me later." Marvin said before swinging me over his shoulder.

"Marvin. Put me down or I'll kill you." I said punching his back, hard.

"Ouch. That does hurt you know." He said, I could tell he'd forgiven me.

"Where on Earth are you taking me?" I asked as he put me into the back of his car and Alice got in next to me. Marvin, silently, walked round to the front seat of his car and got in.

"You'll see." I watched as he glanced into his car mirror and nodded at Adam who was in the car behind with, I assumed, the others.
