My voice was steady even though I was confused. But I think I understand what Kismae is saying. At least a little bit.
>>Hatori's POV<<
"He is sick Hatori. Not weak. Well... Physically yes... But he could still cause some damage. Oh well. The point is that Tohru is a great person. If a little clueless, but she isn't the kind of person that Akito wants or needs around him. He needs friends. Friends that won't dance around him om their toes because he is sick." Kismae took a deep breath. "If you want to keep Tohru, I advise you to keep her as far away from Akito as possible."
Hatori sighed again. I could finally understand why Kismae was angered. I knew she despised stupid people. While Tohru wasn't the most idiotic person on the planet she certainly wasn't the brightest either. This was one of the many things Kismae and Akito had in common.
She still cared for him. The many years of affection hadn't completely been forgotten or disappeared.
"Will you be that person then? Or how do you suggest that I find someone to risk their lives in his rooms every day?" I asked.
"Get someone with the same IQ as Tohru off the Internet." Kismae suggested.
I snorted. Very undignified and out of character. But she had a point.
"Of course. I can always try. Besides. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the zodiac again. I've met Kyo, Yuki, Ayame, Shigure and yourself already. Oh and Momiji of course." She continued.
"I'm sure the others will be looking forwards to seeing you too." I told her.
She smiled and stood up. Then she bowed to me.
"I shall take my leave. Ryogi is waiting. And I have to pop by Ayame's shop this afternoon as well. Goodbye Hatori."
I straightened out my grey vest and stood up.
"Yes. Of course. I'll see you in a few days perhaps?"
She nodded and walked out of the door.
>>Kismae's POV<<
When I reached the gate that separated the main house of the Sohmas from the rest of the world I stopped.
Was that all? No. I still had one thing to do in the main house. I turned around.
It was time to visit Akito.
