We stood in front of a small fort made of blankets, chairs, and pillows. Eleven's breath quickened. Mike squeezed Eleven's hand. Mike whispered into Eleven's ear. Eleven nodded then walked in.

"What happened?" I asked Lucas, worried for Eleven.

Lucas sighed and looked over at Will. Will nodded. Lucas nodded back and looked down at me. He hesitated before speaking.

"Well...remember the story I told you in the back room at the Arcade?" Lucas said at last. I nodded. "Well when Eleven went into that void thingy, she saw Will in Castle Byers. The demagorgan scared her when she was in Castle Byers and now she's scared of it I guess." Lucas explained.

"Oh...is she gonna be okay?" I asked, tense. Lucas nodded. "On a more pressing matter, are we gonna sleep here?" I questioned.

Lucas threw his head back and laughed. Eleven and Mike had already went inside and Dustin was just walking in now.

"Of course princess." Lucas said then winked.

I felt my face get hot. Oh lord I thought. I felt my face getting warmer at the thought of Lucas and I sleeping together.

"Now c'mon!" Lucas yelled and grabbed my hand. He tried pulling me into the fort but I wouldn't budge.

"Lucas wait! We um gotta talk..." I murmured and pulled him back to me. Will had just went inside so we were alone. Lucas looked at me with confusion. "Maybe we should take things...um...a little...slower..." I mumbled.

It killed me to say it, but I didn't want to start mushing faces all the time like Eleven and Mike.

I let go of his hand and lowered my eyes, waiting for him to yell in protest. But I just felt him wrap is arms around me in a hug.

"If that's what you want." Lucas whispered in my ear. I hugged him back tightly. "Thank you." I whispered back.

"C'mon! Stop mushing faces and get in here!" Mike yelled. Lucas let go of me and turned to Mike. I turned to Mike as well and put my hand on my hips.

"You're one to talk!" Lucas shot back. Lucas and I high fived. Mike's face turned a bright red and he disappeared behind the curtain.

Lucas and I laughed and walked into Castle Byers. We were welcomed by smirking faces. This is gonna be a long night!
