I stared at Max as her silhouette became smaller. Mike was pacing back and forth with Eleven following. Will was staring at his feet and Dustin was watching Max go too.

"Max!" I yelled after her.

She kept skating away. Eventually she was gone. Dustin and Will turned and watched Mike and Eleven pace.

"Pacing is not going to bring her back, ya know?" I rolled my eyes.

Mike looked back at me with blazing eyes. Will, Eleven, and Dustin looked back at me too. I sighed. Mike went back to pacing. Eleven didn't join in this time.

"Stop it! She obviously wants to be alone. Pacing is not gonna help!" I exclaimed.

Mike stopped and his shoulders slumped. Suddenly he whipped around. Will, Dustin, and Eleven turned too. What's going on?

"What was she talking about?" Mike asked.

"Nothing...she just "embarrassed" herself the other day." I replied.

"Yea right!" Will retorted.

"It's true!" 

"Is not!"

"What did she do then?" Dustin quizzed with hands on his hips.

"I don't want to embarrass her...I'll talk to her later. I gotta go too. Sorry! Bye guys!" I told them and biked off.

"AW, C'MON LUCAS!" Mike shouted.I just waved behind me and rode home.

I got home a little later. I parked my bike and walked inside. Erica looked up from her homework.

"Where have you been?" Erica hissed.

"School." I replied nonchalantly.

"Well it's 4:00 and school gets out at 3:15." Erica replied.

"I was buys. Buh bye!" I yelled and ran to my room. I'll go over to Max's later.

Sorry this is a sucky chapter. But trust me, the next few chapters are gonna be juicy!
