Best Friends - Lumax

I sighed quietly. Class was extra boring today. Thank god it was last period. Looking over, I saw Max sound asleep. I nudged her. She didn't move. I kicked her shoe slightly.

"Huh...Wha'?" Max groaned.

"Wake up! We're in class!" I whispered yelled.

Max frowned and woke up. She looked around, realizing we were in class. She sat up straight. The teacher stopped and looked over in our direction before continuing to teach. I let out a sigh of relief.

Max sat with her hand under her chin. I pulled out a small piece of paper and wrote a note quickly.

Max!!! Don't keep falling asleep! It read.

Max scribbled in the back of the note then slid it back over to me.

I can't help!!!! Class is soooo boring!

I chuckle quietly and looked over to her. She made a gun sign with her hand and put it up to her head. I just smiled and blew her a kiss. She turned red and winked. I felt my face grow warm.

"Lucas, Max? Would you like to share with the rest of the class?" The teacher said sharply.

"No sir!" I told him. He looked at me for another second before turning around and started drawing on the chalk board.

Suddenly the bell rang. I leaped from my seat and grabbed my books. Max was close behind. We raced to the AV room. Dustin, Mike, Will, and Eleven were already there, waiting for us.

"What took so long?" Eleven asked.

"They were probably making out." Will snickered.

Everyone in the room laughed. Max and I just groaned.

"Ah ha! They didn't deny it!" Dustin exclaimed.

"Let's just get this started!" Max yelled.

Everyone snickered but started doing their work. I sighed and pulled Max closer to me.

"Let's talk outside..." I whispered in her ear.

She nodded and we walked outside the AV room. The halls were empty. She turned and looked at me with arms crossed.

"Well?" She asked.

"I just wanted to um...well I...like we could...the bus...you and me...um..." I stuttered.

"Are you asking me out, stalker?" She asked.

"If you uhhh want to..." I stammered.

She smiled. "Real smooth, stalker. But...I'd love to...lemme guess, the bus?" She questioned.

I nodded. She stepped forward and kissed my cheek. "It a date." Then she turned and walked inside.

I jumped high in the air! "YES, YES, YES!!!!" I yelled.

"Awwwwwww!" I heard Max say. I stopped and whipped around. Max was peeking out the door.

"M-max! Uh...Hey!" I said, totally embarrassed.

Max just laughed. The door opened up a little wider and Eleven peeked out. Then Mike. Then Will. Then it was pretty much wide opened and Everyone was standing there, watching me.

"Umm...Hey guys!" I muttered. Max smirked.

"C'mon, stalker!" She said then grabbed my hand.

"Coming, Mad Max." I replied.

I'M GOING ON A DATE WITH MAD MAX!!! WHOOO!!!!!!!

So...this chappy is pretty short. Only because I wanted the next chapter to be the date. So...don't hate me for it being so short!
