Chapter 7(Cody)

The rest of the gang doesn't have a problem with this but I absolutely hate that Max is going to be on the cruise too but I think I'll have to keep that on the down low.Alex was headed to basketball tryouts before I stopped her.

"Alex."I said and almost twitched when I said her name.

"Oh,hi."She said and glanced up at me.

"I'm so glad that we won the tickets!"I said happily.

"I know but Max is gonna be there."She said.

Alex opened the gym doors and went to her try out while I was trying to figure out why Alex didn't like Max either.

I was busy packing all my stuff because we had to leave for the cruise in 3 days and I barely packed anything.I had no idea what to bring because I've never went on a cruise before.I tossed in some clothes,a bottle of sunscreen and my trunks for swimming.That was what I was doing before I received a call.

"Hello?"I said into the phone.

"Hey,Cody."Said a voice from the other end.

I recognized the voice to be Kara's.

"Kara,what's up?"I asked.

"Jason said we should all pack up and meet at the dock.I was wondering if you could be my ride since Alex is going with Jason."She said in that tone that nobody could say no to.

"Yeah sure.I'm almost done packing."I replied.

I wasn't really sure if I was ready to move on so easily from Alex but it was Alex's sister so I'm not really sure.I finished packing and went into my car and drove to their house.Surprisingly,Alex was still there looking stunning as usual but wear a nice blue dress.

"Is Cody your ride?"She asked her sister.

"Yeah."She responded and got in my car.

We were pretty much silent until she asked:

"So,do you still like Alex even though she's with Jason?"She asked while applying some lipstick.

To be honest with you, I really wasn't but I wanted Jason to be happy so I have to learn how to let it go.

"Yeah,it just want them to be happy."I replied and turned the corner.

I parked the car and we went to our dock.We waited a couple of minutes for the others to arrive.Alex and Jason came over.Jason looked like he was really trying to impress Alex with his tuxedo and good looking face.

"Wow."Was all I could say at the moment.

"Dude,stop staring"Kara said and snapped her fingers in front of my face.

"Let's go before they run out of VIP rooms."I joked.

We all walked into the huge cruise ship and boy could I say there were tons of people.Some were chatting,some were swimming and some were kissing.

Oh,boy this was gonna be one hell of a ride.
