Chapter 12( Jason)

Okay, Alex probably wants me to talk about the backstory with Jennah and all that but honestly, I've had enough of the romantic drama so let's get into something else!

Not to mention the fact it was Christmas Eve, our secret santa thing didn't get canceled. Unfortunately, I didn't get Alex and honestly(Alex is definitely gonna see this) I was kinda disappointed because I really wanted to get her something special for Christmas. I was pondering on what to do after Alex left me there.I would be completely lying if I said that it didn't hurt but she didn't say the words 'I'm breaking up with you' so I'll take that as a good note.So after that happened, I went straight to Kara because she always knew what to do when Alex acted like this.I knocked on the door and she whispered.

"What the hell did you do this time?" She said in a whisper.

"She saw my ex girlfriend on my phone."I said not meeting her eyes.

I didn't see her reaction but I was pretty sure she was disappointed.

"What am I going to do now?" I asked her.

She just sat there in deep thought and then answers.

"She's probably not going to talk to you for days until you admit you're over your ex, so the real question is are you?" She said.

I looked down at my phone and their was my ex. She had beautiful brown hair and stunning green eyes but I knew that Alex was the love of my life and I wasn't prepared to lose her.

"Yeah, I am. Alex is worth everything." I said.

Kara stood up and motioned for me to follow her.

"Hurry up! We're gonna be late to the secret santa thing." She said and rushed out of the door.

I grabbed my coat and closed the door behind me. Once we arrived at the main lobby, everyone was there already. Alex was sitting on one of the couches and was avoiding making eye contact with me. Beside her sat Cody ( I wasn't really comfortable with this since Cody still has feelings for her). Kara decided to sit in between Alex and Cody which made me feel better. I decided to sit the furthest away from Alex since she won't let me sit near her.

"Okay, guys who's starting?" Cody asked.

"I guess I am." Alex said and picks up her gift.

The gift was wrapped with blue wrapping paper and a golden knot. Alex opened the box to reveal a shiny new leather jacket. Whoever got her this present must really know her because Alex is like OBSESSED with leather jackets. Alex actually made eye contact with me for the first time since I've arrived.

" I'm guessing Jason." She said in that voice of hers that I've always loved.

" Nice try, but no." I said.

For a split second, I think Alex looked disappointed but maybe that was just me.

Cody leaned forward and said " It's from me."

Alex looked quite shocked at first but then said " Thanks." and kissed him on the cheek. Honestly, I was furious that Cody even got kissed by Alex even though it wasn't on the lips. Cody was turning 50 shades of red.

"Jason, you're next." Cody announced.

I pick up my gift. The wrapping paper had little hearts on it and had a blue knot. I opened the gift to reveal a flash ring. I have wanted a flash ring forever and there was only one person who I told and that was Alex.

"This is obviously Alex." I said.

"Thanks-----" I said but got cut off.

" I made this before I discovered you had an ex so no need to say thanks." She said.

Ouch, that hurt really bad.

" Kara, your turn." Cody said.

Kara picked up her gift which was wrapped in purple wrapping paper. She opened the gift which had a wonder woman funko pop figure.

"Awww, thanks Cody." She said.

Last but not least, Cody opened his present which was those funny jokes books.

"Hey, has anyone seen Crystal?" Alex pointed out.

"No." We all replied back.

Where was Crystal?????
