Shanelle P.O.VAlmost two weeks have gone by since I spoke with my "bestfriend", I honestly could not believe her actions. She took it offensively when all I was trying to do was look out for her. I haven't called her or vice versa, that said a lot to me. I was not about to kiss her spoiled ass, not this time. Throughout our friendship I've noticed that I am always the one to make peace, but we are both grown and the one who is wrong needs to step up and apologize first... in this case it isn't me.
Today was the day that Jon and I were taking our little sisters out somewhere to play with each other. They had met already and we went out for ice cream once, but this entire day was dedicated to them. It was only my two younger sisters, I had promised the twins that we would do something separately.
"Lena, come in here so I can get you dressed", I yelled down the stairs.
I had did her hair with two bantu knots in the front with her natural curls flowing down her back. Lay's hair was braided in the front with loose braids covered with beads in the back. I am so glad my mama has some good 3c hair that was passed down to all of us.
"I don't wanna wear this", Lena says with a pout.
I sigh at this girl's dramatics, "Well what do you want to wear missy?"
She walked over to her chest that had some of her clothes and pulled out a tutu.
"You always wear that, why you don't wanna this pretty dress?", I held out a peplum dress with roses on it.
"Noooo", she yells. I spank her leg.
"Little girl you can stay here.", I get up to make sure Layla had herself dressed.
"I look pretty sissy", she smiles.
I admired my little sister. Layla had light skin like mama and was snagatooth. She favored both mom and her dad. From him, she inherited light brown hair with a red tint and had a dimple in her left cheek. Other than that she was spitting image of our mama. Today I dressed her in a sleeveless denim button up with tan shorts.
"Yes bubba, go put your white and gold sandals on.", she runs into my mom's room.
I go back upstairs to see if Selena had her attitude in check.
"Are you ready to stop pouting like a baby and get dressed?", she nods.
Instead of putting on the dress I go into our closet and pull out a blue dashiki. Selena was on the chubby side and she had milk chocolate skin. Her dimples were her best feature and she inherited hazel eyes from her dad's family. Both her and Lay had freckles.
"Ouuuuu, I like that one.", she says with a grin. I get her dressed and add bows to her bantu knots.
My phone starts to ring with a text notification.
Big Fella' ❤️
Hey, I'm outside.. No rush.
We are coming out right now. Putting on Lena's shoes.
"Alright you two, be good for your sister' mama says as she gives them kisses, 'I won't have a problem tearing ya asses up when you get back.. understand me?"
"Yes mommy", they say in unison.
I hug my mom, grab my purse and keys, and lead the girls outside. I ran over to my mom's car to grab the booster seats as Jon meets me halfway. He grabs them and get's the girls situated. His little sister, Alana, was just getting up from a nap. She was adorable. Her skin was a light brown complexion and she had wavy hair braided into a high loose ponytail. Her cheeks were plump and her dark brown eyes stole my heart.
