After staying the night at Jon's house he convinced me to go home and talk to my mom. It took a lot in me to go back home after leaving and not answering my phone. Mama was more upset than pissed because she was worried about my whereabouts. But we hashed our differences out and her and Mama T apologized to me, as I did the same.

That was 4 days ago.

With the day that I move coming closer and closer, it was time to go get some stuff out the way pertaining to school. It sucked that Kelise and I would no longer be able to experience this college life with each other, but life goes on. I was now going to be staying in a room by myself, and I was not complaining.

Originally, I wanted to have a trunk party, unfortunately we didn't know that many people. One day while I was working my coworkers threw a small party and they all brought in supplies and room decorations for me. Mama T's coworkers sent me stuff as well. It wasn't much, but it was enough. So today my uncles and mom were taking me to get the rest of the necessities.

He called and told us to meet him at Target, and that's where we were now.

"Damn man, my baby really going off to college", he says as he hugs my shoulder.

"Uncle Lance, I'm not a baby anymore", I chuckle.

"Shiiiit. Girl you gone always be my baby. I'm proud of you girl."

I was always a daughter to my uncle, along with Kam and Kels. Simply because our dad went M.I.A and he stepped up to the plate. He and his wife have tried for years to have a baby, they never got lucky thought. So the twins and I were the kids they've always wanted.

"Okay Nelle, gone over there and get the rest of the stuff for your room.", Mama interrupted our bonding moment.

My dorm colors are going to be grey and teal, we already ordered my bedding offline. All I needed to get was a rug, a few bins, and a couple more decorations. Mama's friend customized me a fur stool and mirror set to go along with my room. How all of this stuff was getting to D.C. was the question.

Following our shopping trip, we decided to dine at Red Robin's. This quality time with my Mama and Uncle Lance was the best. It was like having both parent's around at once, but I never let my imagination get the best of me. I knew this moment wouldn't last for long, and it didn't. We joked and reminisced on the stuff I use to do when I was little.

Since the twins special night out got cancelled a couple of days ago, Jon and I promised to take them skating and out to eat. When Mom and I got home, I notified the twins to start getting themselves ready and that he would come to pick us up around nine.

I took my bags from the stores upstairs and placed them in storage closet that contained the rest of my stuff for college. Once I picked out my outfit, I got everything ready for a shower. It took me thirty minutes to take care of my hygiene and as for my hair, two long braids would have to do. I packed my lip gloss, keys, wallet, and gum into a small black Chanel cross body bag. Tonight I was wearing distressed shorts, a black crop top, and a red and black flannel. On my feet were black chucks.

The twins were already dressed and sitting in the living room. Kelsey was dressed in a baseball tee with red sleeves, black distressed jean shorts, and red Nike Huaraches. Her 4a hair was in a bun at the top and down in the back with her edges laid. She had convinced mama to let her dye the ends of her hair honey blonde, which complemented her soft brown skin. Kels had braces and deep dimples that showed without her trying. Kamryn let her waist length hair remain wild in its natural state, the color of her hair was light brown but had tints of gold. Kam had on shortveralls that was black and covered in dandelions. Under it was a yellow crop top and she wore her yellow chucks. She had a flower headband that matched her outfits. Kam had milk chocolate skin, and dimples as well, hers just wasn't as deep as Kelsey's.
