Ain't No Party Like A GWC Party

After spending time with my family at Shenaniganz, I was now back at my mom's house relaxing until Kelise was ready to go. My mom was in the living room with Mama T, and all of my sisters along with my boyfriend was laid out across my bed and floor watching a movie.

"Nelle can I please get some covers", my baby sister Selena asks.

"Only if you take your thumb out of your mouth Lena, I told you big girls don't suck on their fingers".

"But mama says I'm still a baby", she says while attempting to roll her little eyes.

I sigh and respond, "Nooo, mama says you're her baby girl, meaning the smallest out of all of us, 4 year olds are big girls."

"Fine, can I have cover now sissy?", I kiss her forehead and cover her up with the blanket.

It was now going on 8:30pm and Kelise should have been calling at anytime now. The party didn't start until 10 but we wanted to go get pre-lit before it started. I planned on making this a night to remember while spending it with the people I loved and meant the most to me.

I looked down to see that my two younger sister had fell asleep. Selena was still under me filling the room with light snores and still sucking on her thumb. My other sister Layla was at the foot of the bed cuddled up with her Build-A-Bear. Luckily they shared rooms with me so I wouldn't have to carry them downstairs where everyone else slept. We stayed in a three bedroom single family home. Our downstairs was pretty small and that's where the twins shared room and mamas room was. There was a bathroom down there, but it was only a walk in shower, sink, and toilet. The other room down there was used as our living room since the actual one couldn't fit a damn thing in it. Upstairs was an open area with one small room. That room was mine. I had it decorated with pictures of my family and friends and my queen sized bed had a black and white comforter on it. In the open area was were the two youngest slept. They shared a bunk bed and they had similar Princess Tiana comforters. There was a toy chest and a dresser in there as well. Across from them was the bathroom that contained a tub, sink, and toilet.

I tapped my boyfriend and motioned over to Layla. Without saying a word, he picked her up and placed her on the bottom bunk of the bunk bed she shared with Lena. My other two sisters were still on the floor watching The Wood.

"Shanelle, what time are you coming back tonight?", Kelsey asks.

"I might spend the night with Kelise, why what's up?"

"Oh.. Nothing", she shrugs and turns around.

"Girl you so scary... she wants to sleep in here tonight.", her twin Kamryn says while smacking her lips.

I crack up laughing as Kelsey mugs her,"Kels all you had to do was ask, you know I don't really care. But you know, no damn snacking in my bed."

"Dang Kam, maybe I didn't wanna ask right away, and okay sis I won't."

"Yo sisters a trip man", Nas chuckles, "They stay into it."

"First of all big ugly, we not even into it. She just being scary", Kam says matter of factly.

"Hol' on now big fella, let's not start talking about people... you don't want me to get at you"

"Don't come at my sister", I laugh while pushing his shoulder.

He pushes me back, "Mannnn yo sisters be starting with me then cry when I grill they fat headed asses. They act just like yo crybaby ass. When y'all gone learn Mac Daddy Nas don't know how to quit?"
