The Real King

"There are soldiers heading towards Saika", one of the villagers came running at the tavern where Yona and the rest are having their meal. "Hmmm. I heard some rumors while coming here. The fire tribe are getting weapons from Kai", Nari said while playing with the squirrel. "You're quite informed, Miss", Hak looked at her suspiciously. "You're scaring me", Nari hid at Shinah's back. Shinah just remained sitted. "By the way, I smelled something fishy while coming here. Why would Saika station so many soldiers outside their palace?", Nari hummed. "We're going back to Kouka", Yona stood up. "If we go back in there, it will put you to danger, Princess", Nari said with concern. "I know", Yona gave a serious look. "We're going to scatter their battalion", Yona raised her chin. "You're staying here. Wait for us to return", Jae Ha instructed the young girl. "I'm terrified in a foreign place", Nari clung unto Kija and Shina. "I can manage my own", Nari's expression suddenly changed.

They ended up at the enemy's camp. "Stay close to me, Sai", Yona held the girl's hand.

She's no longer trembling like before.

Yona held tight on her bow and started shooting some soldiers. Yun is also throwing rocks on the soldier. Nari remained at the center being protected.

Guh, I hate this show where I have to be protected.

The camp was destroyed and the rest of the group continued. "I'll just looking for something", Nari excused herself. She called for the eagle and it landed on her shoulder. She slipped a paper on it's claws. "Now, I'm a bit scared that you are selling us out", Zeno suddenly appeared. "No way. Why would I do that? The eagle was just hungry so I fed it", Nari nervously laughed. "Zeno, thank you for letting me live that time. I owe you a lot. What can I do for you?", Nari asked. "Just protect the Princess", Zeno smiled.

Kouka
Saika Village

"There are soldiers few miles away but they are moving away from Saika", Shinah reported. "Woah, that's amazing. So you can actually see so far", Nari tried to look at Shina's eyes again but he ran away.

The next day, they borrowed horses from the village. "Does any one know how to ride one?", Yun asked. Hak, Jae-Ha, and Nari raised her hand. "Oh, Kija, that's so amazing", Yun commented. "But it will be my first time outside the white dragon village", Kija smiled. "Jae-ha, have me in your side", Yun raised his hand. "Princess, you can ride on mine", Nari offered. "I can ride on my own", Yona smiled and tried to climb up. She remembered Soo Won. Hak hand grabbed her up. Jae Ha and Yun, Shinah and Nari, Kina rode alone.

"Why are you coming with us?", Shinah asked while holding on Nari's waist. "Shinah, you've got good eyes, dont you?", Nari asked. "Watch how I control the horse. You'd be able to after a while", Nari encouraged. They were at the last part. "My horse is getting thirsty, we'll catch up", Nari waved at them. Nari and Shinah went down. "Shinah, try riding it", Nari said while caressing the horse head. Shinah was able to do it. "I'll be separating from here Shinah. I'm so happy to see you guys once again", Nari started to step back. She shown him a crest of a Kouka Soldier. "Tell those guys that I got scared and decided to run away", Nari winked at him. Shinah nodded then started to ride away.

Nari ran towards the starting point of the earth tribe. They are suppose to attack from behind.

"You are a bit late, aren't you?", Geun Tae scratched his nape. "I'm just on time. Let's go scare General Soo jin", Nari said happily while climbing a horse. "Make sure you wont drag us down", Geun Tae smiled and they advanced.

Near the Hiryuu's Castle
Battefield

"Its my job to keep the damage at minimum", Soo Won said while looking down at the Kai soilder and fire army struggle getting near them. "They're outnumbered, go and kill him", Soo Jin shouted.

They heard some noise at the back and saw the Earth Tribe. "Welcome to the battlefield, General Geun Tae", Nari smirked. The rest of them charged without Nari. She just sat at the horse looking opposite the mountain where Soo Won is standing.

Flashback...

"You're not going to join the battle. Not yet, I need a great warrior like you in the next battle to come", Soo Won instructed. "Why would I go in that place if I am not needed?", Nari complained. "You'd be sending a signal and also gather some information. Everything, you should know where Li Hazara would be and what's the next hideout", Soo Won said with a serious tone. "Plus, I dont want my Nari to be hurt in such an inside battle", Soo Won pouted. Nari headbutted the guy then left.

Present....

She started moving towards Soo Won's side. One soldier tried to shoot her down but Judo threw a spear on him. "Try not to slow us down", Judo scolded. Nari ignored him. She was able to go at Soo Won's side and wore hood and mask. "There's a great possibility that the odds won't be in your favor today", Nari said teasingly. "What do you mean?", Soo Won asked. "There are unknown group pursuing Soo Jin", one soldier ordered. "I will go and see them", Soo Won said then moved his horse. "Soo Won... Your Highness, the battle here is not yet over", Nari tried to keep him from meeting with Yona. "You are acting weird. Let's both go", Soo Won invited.

Soo Won went to the said place and looked from the upper area.

Yona and the rest are still in the battle mood. "Youre the least person to be a King", Yona said with a loud voice. She stopped as she felt an aura. She looked up and there... she saw Soo Won again.

Yona?

Soo Won?

"Is my eyes playing tricks on me?", Geun Tae blinked once again. He looked intently at the group and seems to recognize Yona and Hak.

"We are going to retreat", Yona shouted. "Kija, open us a way", Yona instructed. She gave a final glance at Soo Won then left.

"Is that...", Judo was about to follow them. "Leave them. Its just bunch of bandits caught up", Geun Tae said. "If we let them go...", Judo clenched his fist. "What's our job here? General Judo?", Nari reminded as she removes her mask. "I had enough of this!!!", Soo Jin shouted and got an arrow. "You shall die here!!!", he shouted and released an arrow. Nari caught it with barehands and crushed it. "Princess is right, you don't have anything to be a king", Nari was about to return an arrow but a soldier stabbed Soo jin's chest.

"What a tragedy, I would like to show you what Tae Jun have become", Nari sighed. "You said the same thing as that princess. Kyo Ga,Tae Jun", Soo Jin cried then died.

"Let me see your hand", Soo Won said. "A small wound like this is nothing. As long as I can protect you", Nari gave a smile at Soo Won. "You gave me a chill there", Judo commented. "I'll stay. I'll be giving him a proper burial along with the soldiers", Nari informed. "These soldiers also have family. I will be delivering a message to their family that they died in a battle against Kai. Would that be okay for you, Your Highness? I hope it remains a secret that they betrayed the King", Nari gave a bow. "Raise you head, Nari. I'll see you at Saika Palace", Soo Won said then they separated ways.
