"Where's it?" She looked at him longingly.
"Hmm... actually I...I" He acted as if He had forgotten.
"Dont tell me, You have brought no ring for me? Although I can understand It was not supposed to happen, Its okay" She smiled back slightly became disappointed.
"Yup, It was not supposed to happen, You were not supposed to happen" He grinned wickedly cooking something in his mind, to play a prank on her He continued, "Sorry Anika" He downcast his eyes to hide that mischievous glint in them.
"Okay! I told you naah" She turned to move from there, but As usual got stopped by Shivaay.
She felt him sliding something into her finger, She faced to his side.
"I took this ring from Om's hand without his knowledge while you were busy with your drama out of the blue. I knew that You would do something to stop the engagement, so I saved the ring from him, kept it for you, will you accept the ring? I know You deserve an untouched one, but please for now at least ?" He placed a kiss on her ring-clad finger while She softly said "Yes"

It was a finger band actually, fully engraved with diamonds. It was elegant and classy!

"I loved the design by the way" She exclaimed like a child.
"Now Mine? where is my ring , Your Highness!" He asked having no patience either.
"Sorry, I actually forgot to bring yours" She scratched her forehead in embarrassment.
"Are you kidding me?" He gasped.
"No..actually I was doing that drama, so I could not realise when the ring that Dadaji had bought for Om, simply slipped through my hand, Am sorry" She gave a dejected look to him. She was really down with how the events had turned unexpectedly that She had forgot the ring there at the party place!
"I think Om will start looking for us, We should leave now" Shivaay shook his head in order to brush off bitterness the situation had created and moved towards the door.
"Please Dont leave, Although I dont have that ring with me right now, but I have something for you to give, Will you accept that?" She pleaded
and He turned around to find her stood lowering her face.
"I will, whatever It may be" He stepped forward, made her look at him straight.
"My papa had gifted me a ring on my 10th birthday, I had grown an interest in collecting sea shells, corals then, I also had a huge collection, My Papa always called me 'his lil mermaid', So He gifted me a customized thumb band with a sea shell design on it, Can I put it on your finger?" She asked him.
"You dont have to seek my permission everytime to give me something, whatever It may be, I told you, You are equal to me, So Make me wear now, I am feeling so excited to have it" He smiled vibrantly.
She put the ring on his ring finger, "It is a thumb band, So It will perfectly fit your ring finger" She finished her work, "Look, hope You like it"
"I love it"

He took her in a side hug, kissing on her forehead.
"Thanks for making me feel special"
They stood there for a few more minutes, after that They heard a knock on the door.
"Bhaiyaan" Rudy screamed, "Are you finish with your future planning? Will you move out of the room? Has She not regained her consciousness, Its already been 40mins, Should I call the doctor? Which doctor? A physician or a gynecologist or a..." And Om pressed his palm on his mouth to stop him from going any further.
"Shut up Ru, You have gone too far" He glared to which Rudy immediately stopped blabbering.
and with a sound of Opening the door, There they came, no actually stood with 2 feet distance between them.
"You guys are still maintaining 2ft ki doori after this solid 40mins of togetherness? Really?" Om could not stop himself from laughing out loud, followed by A crackling sound of laughter from Rudra Singh Oberoi. ;)
