On one wall in my room
Is a big painting
Adorned in a white frame,
The white frame holding a scene of red flowers.
Beside said painting
Hang two small pictures
Almost identical to one another,
The only difference being the colour of
Flowers which, once again, are kept inside a silver frame.
Below each small pictures
stand two nightstands
In line with the pictures.
Below the big painting is a space for my bed
A space just big enough for my bed to fit snug between the nightstands.

Except my bed is at the other side of my room;
The wild side.
This side contrasts hugely with the first wall, which is tidy and somewhat fancy.
This side has a huge poster up of my favourite band
And beside said poster
Hundreds of pictures holding memories of my life dominate the wall,
Showing the different stages I went through to get to now.
This side has a few of my drawings up
(Which are just as messy as I am)
And two certificates are stuck amongst them
Giving a glimpse at my achievements.

My bed used to lie at the neat, unimaginative side

Until I stopped being my mother's shadow

And discovered who I was.

My bed currently lies at the wild side.
