Balloons are perhaps a worldwide symbol
Of happiness,
Each one is decorated with bright colours
And funky designs,
Even if the balloon is black and blue
It's job is still to make everyone happy.
They hang around for days
After you put them up
And slowly die down after time.
There's a sense of sadness when you've to clear them all away
And then go back to your normal every day.
There's multiple games people play with balloons,
There's endless punches thrown at them
A source of fun and amusement
That everyone can obtain.
Everyone pushes them to their boundaries
Without expecting a result
I was once told
Way back when
that I was a balloon
By this prententious snob
But what people forget is that when balloons come under
too much pressure
They pop.
